    None at this time.
    MKW you're a Marine ?

I pick up my 15 tomorrow. Traded a 14 dbl cab sb. for long bed dbl.trd sport. . looked at the 16 and didn't care for the motor change. No need for a smaller engine. Regardless of the state of tune it's in. 2nd gen is a proven truck and just about bomb proof.

Picked up my SilverSky last week because I couldn't bear to look at the '16s. Will they grow on me? Maybe. But not enough for me to pay more for a truck in 6 months. Happy with what I have.

I started looking at Tacoma's before they even released the 2015 then I decided to just wait and save for a 2015. After they released them I placed my order 2 days Later. After waiting 6 long weeks for my truck to get built it arrived. 2015 Tacoma TRD Off Road v6
6 speed access cab. Could not be happier with this truck

We purchased a `15 because it was within $1500 of all the used I looked at. The 16 had the creature comforts I wanted, but decided we could add it to the 15 and have exactly what we want for roughly the same $$ in the long run. With a brand new engine in the 16, That alone nearly ruled it out. I always prefer 2yrs on any new gen engine before buying. The factory supported and warranty covered supercharger for the 2nd Gen made a huge difference too...

Yea, last one is shot now....

I bought a 2015 a month ago. Got a good deal and I like the look better than the 2016. Better aftermarket support, etc. Not enough of a change to justify the extra costs.

Before I bought my 2015 Sport back in July I was already deciding what I wanted to do. After weighing out all the pros and cons. I got a better price on the 2015 and also my 2010 trade in with 71000 miles. Also I prefer to wait until the truck is out for at least 3 years. As for the look I'm not sure because I have not looked at one at a dealer ship.

My 2015 TSS is six weeks old. I love it. I was ready to buy. When I saw my first 2016, I did not like it.

I like both the 2015 and 2016 but preferred the simplicity of the 2015. My next door neighbor has the exact truck I bought but a few years older. He bought it with 40k on it and I have jealously watched him haul ATV's in a trailer, and other gear with his to the remote areas of Maine. He has well over 100k and has never had one issue with it. My first generation Tundra was a money pit after 13 years of ownership and I am glad to get rid of it.

Note: I bought my 2015 ten days ago. Almost all of the 2015 Tacoma's I was looking at multiple dealerships are SOLD!! They are moving quickly.

    The reasons why i bought my 15 a month ago its because;
1 dont like the looks of front bumper of the 16's
2 4.0L engine is proven and tested
    3 $2000 discount
    4 cant wait any longer

I purchased a used 2013 with 33,000 miles (I think) recently instead of the 2016 based one primary reason:

I got the exact trim level I was set to buy in the 2016 (PreRunner V6 TRD, JBL, Tubes, Towing, Tint, MGM, Weather Tech mats), and because it was used I saved about $12,000 in comparison. That was too significant of an amount to pass up. I just so happen to kind of stumble on to the truck, so I grabbed it.

Other than that, I would have ended up with a 2016.

I stopped by a Houston dealer last week and went through a number of 2016s. They had about 15 on the front lot. Some of them were even Texas Edition (something I have not seen mentioned here). They're just fine I guess. I just don't really think I care one way or the other and I would have been happy with either. I am happier in the end to save the money I did.

Originally I was going to go with a 16' but the more I thought about it the more I remembered all the issues my 05' had....I bought the first speedway blue TRD offroad that hit the lot up here in 04' and the truck was crap so I figured I'd go the safe route and get a 15'. I wanted MGM double cab TRD Offroad so I grabbed one of the 2 I could find locally new in September. So far so good, not regrets.....although the new engine boasts more HP with only 1 ft lb less torque the new engine seems to need to be wound up to build any power...the 4.0 always impressed me with how effortlessly it moves the truck....nice torquey feel for a small engine.

No 5 luggers anymore and no stick in the base SR that I can see. 6 lugger base looks so much better than my 2007 5 lugger did.

I was waiting for the 16's and planned to do a quick live comparison then decide, but I ran out of waiting time and needed the ride, so I bought the 15. Totally happy, modest mods underway, and I'm not going to spend a minute second guessing. in about fifteen years, I'll buy another and have two - still may be Gen 3 by then with Toyota discussing Gen 4.

I really like the look of the 2016 Tacoma. Love the Black color, the sport rims and the chrome grill. I figured the new generation would be more expensive and have higher interest rates. Bought a 2015 Tacoma Sport TRD DCLB end of June. $2000 cash discount, $1500 more for trade than what is was worth, $1000 in accessories (took cash), $500 military discount and another $900 off their "best offer". Total $5900 off MSRP (probably could have got more) and plus another $2000 saved from not buying a new 16 TRD Sport DCLB. The only time I will buy a new Toyota Tacoma is when they have their Red Tag Days.

I like the 16 but I also like to buy the last year of a model run. Always seems to be bugs in new model years plus the 16's are pretty expensive right now. I couldn't wait 2 years for 4wd.
