Mine, for one. It's been triple-digits here in Rocklin and that truck still keeps us perfectly cool. This thing works exactly as it did new. That is on the original 22 year old AC charge. I personally think that is impressive, but not surprising for this truck.
    Anyone else out there?

I’ve got 186k still original charge. Ive thought about topping it off or adding some but if it’s not broken I don’t want to mess with it.

Wow talk about timely, last week my compressor failed.

On Monday I had a new compressor, new condenser, and new dryer installed. All Denso for $1900.

2003 with 130K on the clock, but its my fault because I never drive it. it just sits in the garage.

If needs a recharge, probably a small leak somewhere though. It’s about 1¾ cans.
Add slowly tell all the ducts are blowing the same. Fallow the directions on the can. Good luck

Do not use leak seal style. It will clog the lines!! Just the freon

    Word

I had a leak in mine.
Was easy to find and replacement was not hard.
It was in the main discharge line. The cremp failed

Well, I just picked up my truck from the shop this week to replace a dried up o ring and recharge the AC. With 240k miles and 21 years old I suppose that's pretty good. Here in the deserts of Utah it's been plenty cold enough, but we're driving and camping through the hot and humid Kentucky in a couple weeks and having the AC at it's peak coldness will be a good thing.

I've had to charge my '96 once in 27 years 415,000 miles as a fitting was leaking refrigerant. Still cold as heck!

I think some of you are making a $1900 mistake by running the compressor low on fluid...

These denso compressors last so long by slowly weeping coolant around the input shaft....

So no matter how lucky you feel.....10 or 15 yrs in your gonna be low.....

And willy nilly topping off is dangerous......

My 2007 lost it's charge and I refilled with some A/C pro which lasted 5 years. I recently refilled it again with the same can.
