How many Tacomas do you see on the road?

Man I was just think about posting this same question. I live in Mid Michigan (about an hour and a half from the Motor City) and I can go a couple of days without seeing another Taco. Sometimes I think I am the only one in the capital city that has one. However when I went to visit my brother in law in Durham NC I saw one on every street corner. Even the Yoda dealer ship only has about 5 new and no used.

 

To many to count here in so cal! They are a dime a dozen. I have noticed that their are practically no SUV's anywhere! All the high gas prices and our shitty economy !

if i only go to school...there's four in my lane, 2 parked outside, and at least 6 more when i get down my street.

I see them all over. A couple people I work with have them. I would say that I see at least 5-10 on my way to work and I only have a 15 minute drive to work.

 

Since I left my apt this morning, I've counted 14 thus far in the day. I will see how much I see, my GF is counting them too.

 

I live in Northridge, Los Angeles and see and average of 20 (literally-I have counted) a day. The majority of the ones I see are double cab prerunners but only a portion of those are TRD's.

 

I saw 12 of them today just 30 mins from home, All stock mostly older guys have them around here, Just a truck to them I guess.

 

I don't know a total but on my way home tonight there were three of su in a line, 2 second gen and one first gen. That was in a 10-15 minute drive.

I probably see anywhere from 5-10, though I'm not really counting. Silver and White seem to be the most popular colors, with a scattering of the other colors.

I see alot in my area. A pretty good mix of new and old. Haven't seen one in Pyrite Mica yet...

 

Tons here , lots of new ones. I see many Silver,Speedway Blue,TRD's and not may Black Sand Pearl DC LB SR5's like mine. It is the color that people don't sell , by looking at the used PreRunner trucks ads....Rich

 

I recently took a trip from Pittsburgh to Myrle Beach and we counted 57 Taco's on the ride home!!!

 

I see a ton of taco's by me.

 

This time last year I would say I saw about 5 a day. Now probably 10-15. Popularity is growing!

 

I've never counted but see a lot of Tacos, more 1st Gen than 2nd and the majority of the Gen 2 ones I see are DC models. I rarely see a Gen 2 in regular-cab configuration like mine, however. Also see lots of older pre-Tacoma Toyota pickups. They are real popular around here.
