Oh there will be some mods all right
    2. The first one was when I discovered the wonderful (expensive) world of modifying vehicles. A handful of vehicles in-between and now back in a Tacoma again.

    Lol!

Just the thought of going to the dealer that many times makes me grumpy. Car dealers are ranked right up there for scum of the earth along with lawyers and politicians. Only purchased twice from a dealer, my first Toyota 31 years ago and my latest.

My 2nd Tacoma should be at the dealer any day/week now. My first was a 2012 SR5. Absolute lemon! Only kept it 13 months. Some of them had a horrible ping and even with premium couldn't eliminate it. I couldnt take it anymore and traded it in. At the time Toyota ignored all the complaints about them. After I sold it Toyota merely re flashed the trucks and apparently that was the fix.

Yes, they found the 07 4/5 months later. The 07 was taken from driveway. The 17 they found after a couple of days and was stolen in Koreatown.

I think he possibly buys and trades more often. For content to add to his YouTube channel.

I’ve owned 3 in the past and we have 2 right now. If the thread was Toyota trucks owned, that would be a total of 8. First one was a 1983. Lots of people call the 1995 and earlier trucks Tacoma’s but Toyota didn’t call them that.

Years ago, I bought my cousin's 1987 toyota SR5. The 22R engine, 5 speed manual, manual locking hubs, go anywhere attitude, fuel efficiency, ice cold A/C sold me on 4 cylinder Toyota pickups. Also learned that "dogs like trucks" with that vehicle.
Imagine my surprise, when the disadvantaged urban youth who stole it, was captured in Santa Ana!
But, hey!, I bought another 4 cylinder SR5. Which I am extremely happy with. My 10 year old nephew now has almost 10 hours, off roading in it. Pass the offroader torch onto the next generation, peeps.

    I have, however, owned a 1980 Hilux a looong time ago (1986 - 1997).
