A few the other day at the pier, after owning a Taco I seem to see more on the road

I live in a small Countie of 1500 people and I know for a fact that there are probably of what I can see 24 Tacomas from 2 -3 rd Gen but they are popping up all over the place now that people are realizing that Tacomas are the best trucks out there they hold their value, dependable and beautiful looking trucks. I drive around and see a lot of rusty Fords, Dodges and especially GMs that are a few years old and it is maddening to see that cause those trucks are expensive to buy. I switched to Tacoma years ago because of that.

The only one around for miles in my neck of the woods. The 2004 OR (seen in the photos taken from a hot air balloon back in 2012) has been replaced by a 2020 AG Pro, but I still have the only Tacoma around. :D

Actually when I first moved up here 2005 I was the only Tacomas around but mine was more visible and eye catcher that a lot of the locals fell in love with the looks of my Tacoma. Gradually started to see locals buying them slowly over the years and now wow there is a lot of them but mine is still the sexiest one around lol.

Those are unicorns. There’s a guy in my neighborhood with a cavalry blue limited and it’s the one I’ve ever seen

We have something besides Tacomas in common.

In my area of the midwest, I mostly see full size pickups from the Big 3. I'm seeing more Gladiators than Tacoma's now, being the new shinny object.

Grew up in Michigan, Tacoma's were few are far, almost all big 3's. Live in Metro Denver now, every other car on the road is a tacoma lol.

At least 3 on my street. The Guy next to me has a 1st Gen with 200k+ miles on it. I wouldn't even guess how many are in the neighborhood...

Here in central Indiana I see a fair amount of Tacomas, but definitely more full sizes. But I recently took a trip to Asheville, NC and they were everywhere!

All over here in north part of Seattle. I’d bet more than half heavily modified or setup for overland.

There are 3 of us within 6 houses away. One guy buys a new one every 2 years. Must be a lease or something. The other guy has a Sport but should have bought an AT. He smokes the clutch all the time.

My neighborhood has a few oldies and one quicksand 3rd gen with all of the typical goodies. Some 19 year old owns (or is deep in debt) it.

A lot. This area’s very heavy on trucks and jeeps.

Not Tacoma related, although I drove it to feed my "pet" gator Joe some chicken gizzards. Joe is getting bigger! Literally less than a minute walk from my work so I visit him very often

Tacos 3r Generation are popping up all over the place up here must have something to do with the chip shortage and people are turning to Tacos instead of the big 3's.
