Oh this is fun... past and present:

    1990 Toyota Tercel
1992 Toyota Pickup Truck MT ( pre-Tacoma model ).. sold it in 2005 with 199,999 miles on it not a single issue.
2003 Toyota Corolla daughter sold it 2 years ago.
2004 Toyota Corolla son still drives it.
2017 Subaru Forester the wife drives it's a good car, the only 'car' I'd ever buy again.
    2021 Access Cab V6 4x4 Super White ( love it )

One things for sure while Toyota was building a reputation in the 70s and 80s others were trying to copy that. Toyota and Lexus still near top. I’ve owned 9 different Toyota trucks from 86 through 2007, Six different Priuses a Matrix and a 79 Corolla Wagon.

Not enough bandwidth on the internet to list.
I went from never having owned or driven a Toyota in 45 years of driving to buying 2 brand new ones 7 months apart!

Some of us are a little slow at learning.....

They share a fair amount of parts. Some Lexus owners go to Toyota for service because it’s cheaper. I got a LX450h similar to a Toyota Highlander only trimmed out better.

We have a few GMC SUVs also...and have had a LOT of Toyotas over the years...currently we have:

2019 Tacoma TRD OR 4x4 (purchased new in Jan of '19 and now has 180K miles)...my DD
2022 4Runner TRD Pro (purchased new in Feb '22...5500 miles)...wife's DD
2002 Tacoma TRD OR 4x4 (best friend purchased new in 02 and sold to my son when he was in HS - now in college...280K miles)...son's DD

**We've had far more expensive cars over the years ( Ford,GMC, BMW, Audi, etc), but I must say I find Toyota/Lexus products to be wonderful vehicles and a tremendous value.

I bought a 1978 Toyota Corolla in 1980 and was sold on the quality. Then moved the wife into a Toyota Corolla in 1985 and after that she’s always had a Toyota Camry. I drove a 1988 Chevy Silverado for awhile, that 350 V8 engine was bulletproof but the rest of the truck literally was falling apart. I replaced the Silverado with a 1998 Toyota T100 in 2001 and drove it until 2018. That was replaced with a 2018 Tacoma that was totaled last year, and now I drive a 2022 Tacoma. I credit the Japanese auto industry with forcing US automakers to improve their quality, although I’d still buy Japanese over any domestic auto. I hated to see my T100 go but it was time.
