Another nice scoop is the air grabber on the '68 RoadRunner, would look really nice on a Tacoma & it useful.

does turning tires to black wall out count? How bout added snug top rebel.
If it was functional, I'd want one, but just a bump on the hood for looks? No thanks. My wife's 05 Subaru Legacy GT has a scoop, and its function is to cool the intercooler, form and function.

Look what happened to those who wore that ring...

Hood scoops will suck you into a vortex of evil.

Is there a market for trading a hood scoop hood for a non hood scoop hood? I have the sport package, and like all that came with it except the hood scoop, it has grown on me, but I still like the clean look of the non hood scoop hood.

The hood with the scoop is a little bit heavier, therefore adds a bit more weight to the front end. This helps you get more traction when you care ascending steep terrain.

And snow can be a major issue as well. I'm surprised scoops are even available above the forty-eighth parallel.

WRONG! Whatever floats your boat. I don't really care for the way they look, and if it's not functional then I don't want one. For those that have them and like them, then good for you. It would be boring if all our trucks were the same.

Skewp as option if the locker is an option. Allow Tacoma by order so we all get what we want. Don't limit RC/AC/DC or SB/LB. Do it this way and 95% (conservative) would have skewp.

You gotta love all the people who say they don't want one because there not functional. Those are the same people with after market rims, and side steps with no lift.

You know you want a skewp. MoAR POWA!!! +15hp

Side steps with no lift can be functional. I don't have them, but several elderly people who have driven in my non lifted TRD OR have had a very difficult time getting in due to the height. My gram simply can't get in it without help, so we never take my truck when she's along for the ride anymore.

I was just going to say I wanted one on my 13' TRD-OR until I found out they weren't functional.

    Very true.

I have family members that are very short that had trouble getting in my non lifted 10' as well. So they can be functional I admit.
