So, what kind of aftermarket scoop would look good on a Tacoma?

    That, is the question.

    this and that...
i think the scoop really only matches on the xrunner because it has the look to go with it.

Just a bunch of old crap
Unless we're talking about bug deflectors and nerf bars... totally different story.

You can run them through the cap. Or just get some tips and glue them to the roof. I recommend some good epoxy, even gorilla tape eventually lets go.

I like the "slick" look. I feel if I got one the front end would have to much going on.
Aside everything else they're pretty badass

I'm not a fan of the hood scoop but I do like the color painted grill and mirrors. The good thing is, I can do all that!

The only reason I went with the sport was for the color matched stuff. The scoop was a bonus. If the color matched stuff was on the OR, I would have gone with it.

I'd rather have a fake snorkel than a fake hood scoop.

Satoshi'd grill. blacked out badges. aftermarket sound system. De-chromed and color matched. OME 885s + Dakars with 3rd leaf removed. LR UCAs. Scs stealth 6 with 285 duratracs. BAMF sliders

This^ I wish my trd off road came with factory color-matched parts, could care less about the skewp even though i think it looks good.

I agree. Scoop looks good, But I don't need it. I like my color matched grille, but glad I didn't do the mirrors. They are scratched to hell from trails.

Haha. Exactly. I swapped out the chrome rear bumper and rattle canned the grill. I had the same thought about the mirrors and i don't feel like taking the door handles off.
