How much ammo do you keep?

I'm around 500 each of 9mm, .45, and .223. If I can ever find powder and primers I can start reloading and my goal is 2500 of each.

 

2500 rds. 762x39, 1000 rds of 22lr, 500 rds. S&W 40, 300 rds 12 gauge, 150 rds. 20ga, 50 rds 7 mm mag, 50 rds 243, 100 rds. 44mag, 100 rds 45, 100 rds. 16 ga, 100 rds. 30 30. That's all I can think of right now.

 

Got near 40,000 rounds. Can't have enough!
20,000+ .22
10,000+ 9mm
10,000+ .223/.556

 

None. Just a machete, some throwing knives and a bat.

 

You got more than me, only butter knife here, oh and a few rocks outside

 

I got about, 1500 .223, 1500 .22lr, 200 9mm, 400 .45auto, that's all I need for now. I only shoot once a month.

 

Wow no .223? Everyone and their mom has that caliber.

 

Not enough, would like to have a couple thousand of 9mm,40,45,22,5.56,308,30-06,12ga.

 

thats advanced home security right there. You have the rocks for serious issues, but also a "get to the rocks" contingency.

Can't imagine ever really needing a shit ton of ammo in a shtf scenario, but i suppose if I were lucky enough to survive a shootout that lasts more than a few shots I'd want to be expending a lot of 00 buck in doing so. So that's what I have the most of.
I love my rifles and have enough powder and primers to last a long, long time, but if the need arises, the shotgun comes out first.

 

I don't even know where to get #8 for a reasonable price. I can get S&B 00 pretty cheap, though.

 

I don't know how much ammo I have but it is safe to say that I have more than 5000 rounds. Reloading is one of my hobbies so I frequently load empty brass that I have found at the range that folks have left behind.

 

I just got into The AR platform, so my 5.56 ammo hoard is less than 500 rounds. I still have tons of stuff from my skeet shooting days. I still have about 300 lbs of lead shot and several thousand primers. Wads and hulls of gauges 12,20,& 28 in excess of 5K. Maybe 8 lbs of powder on hand.

 

I like to keep at least 1000 rnds for each gun

 

Since this ammo shortage, I shoot a lot less. The quantity that we have now is considered zero. I just joined a range in our new location and am finding a little bit of ammo to shoot. So, I have 650 rounds of 22LR, 200 rds of 45ACP, 100 rds of 12 ga #8, and 20 rds of 12ga 00.
