I'd say depends on your needs. I live and drive a lot in town and a Taco is a good size for where I am; however, when I go out for work I am often in a full size and driving 3-5 hours on the highway and logging roads. Full size are definitely more comfy on the highway and on long trips.

Yeah, when I realistically look at my current needs I don't think I need a full-size. But my next truck, when my kids are in their teens and I'm in my 40's, yeah I could see doing a full size then.

Yeah that's fair. I would honestly love a full size like a Tundra, but it just doesn't suit where I currently live.

I'd love the Raptor, but spending $70k on a vehicle is just completely out of the question. Plus, living in the Northeast I'd never be able to full take advantage of what that truck can do.

That's what I don't get. It's almost 2020 and the Tacoma is getting POOR MPG (I know, beat to death topic). I just don't understand it. My V8 firebird was over 20mpg. That's including racing and doing donuts often.

I think the Taco was designed for grandmas to drive. Any spirited driving and you get shit shifting, dead pedal (poor throttle response) and horrendous gas mileage. Better never be late to work or have an emergency where you need to put the pedal to the metal.

Big reason a bought a 19 this summer was trade in value. I received the top end price KBB value on a 17 Frontier. Most dealers use Galves values and they are a lot less than KBB

Since I do not know where you live, your truck, or any details, I suggest you go to nada.com, kbb.com, or Edmunds.com vs random folks on the intra-webs

In my personal experience If you want a close estimation use the kbb instant offer and then look up the kbb good condition (no matter how nice you rig may be) and expect an offer somewhere in between those values. Sometimes you will do better but that’s the game.

My truck ended selling for $34,900. Pretty close to KBB’s estimate. It sold pretty quick.

Where did you list it/how did you sell it? I’ve been kicking around listing mine on Facebook Marketplace, but I dread dealing with the Facebook dumbasses.

    Any help/tips would be appreciated.

I have a 2019 4WD DCLB with just over 10k miles on it. If I can get 26-27k for it I'll trade it in for a full size in a heart beat.

When I said 34, I thought they'd run, it helps if they really want to sell what you're buying, they know they can resell a 4x4 Tacoma..
