TDA is a fee Toyota charges. It's legit and the dealership has to pay it to Toyota. They'll get it out of you whether they split it out or bake it into the sale price.

For everyone that wonder what is a good price: 3-6% below invoice is a good price.
Request invoice from the salesperson. If they would not show it to you, walk away.
I got mine for 2% below invoice.

Please let me know if this post is not allowed and I will delete it.

I work for D&M Leasing in Texas. I get some good pricing on Tacoma's if you are considering a lease. Our minimum mileage is 15K per year and I can build in as many as you want. My personal lease allows for 30K a year. Our lease terms are anywhere from 3 years to 5. A TRD Pro with a $44,163 MSRP on a 51 month lease will run about $530 a month with a total out of pocket of $2000, including all taxes and fees for Texas. That same truck on a 72 month purchase at 3% is $686. This is assuming a 700+ credit score and with acceptable credit. I have a white automatic due soon.

I pay under invoice for all Toyota's I buy from my dealer.

Sounds too good to be true. What is the money factor and what are the buy out options?

It's a real deal. We don't play the games that dealerships play. We do the whole deal over the phone and deliver the truck to you.

Money factor depends on your credit. I used .0017 money factor, and that should be good if you have great credit, and a score over 700. Residual value is $23,838 after 51 months. The price of the truck with our profit built in is $42,857. I used Texas taxes and fees. We can lease outside Texas to some states, but not all. If you live outside Dallas or Houston, there might be a additional cost to ship it. You can fly in and pick it up as well. With that residual, there is a very good chance the truck will be worth more than the residual at the end, or you will break even and be in a good spot to trade out early.

Got $2800 off. Dealer wouldn't come lower but they came lower than I was expecting so I'm happy

That's a pretty good deal. The invoice is right at $1900 less than MSRP, so the dealer is selling it for $600-$700 over invoice. You can spend days going from dealer to dealer, just to save a $200-$400 bucks. If they have been easy to deal with, go for it.

I'm not sure what the selling price is. The TDA fee is Toyota Dealer Advertising I believe, could be wrong. That's not an official invoice you are looking at. The invoice will look like below. This doesn't mean their numbers are wrong. This isn't the entire one, just s part of it. The invoice isn't the dealers final cost, they have holdback, $668 here, and a few other thinks like finance credit. When you figure on the dealership overhead, salesperson commission, etc, the invoice is considered the dealers break even point. You will have a very hard time finding a dealer to sell you below invoice, unless they are making money somewhere else on the deal. Not giving you full value for your trade in, marking up the interest rate, selling you extended warranties, and dealer adds like tint, nitrogen, pin stripe, etc. If you can get a price around $500 over invoice you are getting a good fair deal.

I don't know about tire fee. Never heard of it. I'm in Connecticut. This was the best deal I could manage. I just signed off on it today. I had two others that could match. None would remove that stupid TDA fee, so it's built in the offer. Build starts 11/14. Delivery 12/18-12/24. Here's what I got:

Inferno - TRD OFF ROAD DOUBLE CAB 4X4 V6 Manual
    Towing Package
    Predator Tube Steps
    Mudguards
    D-Rings
All Weather Liner Plus Door Sill Protectors
    Tonneau Cover

    MSRP - $36,496

    Dealer Offer - $34,300

    Out The Door - $34,300 + $299(Conveyance) + $2,208(TAXES) + $250 (Registration) = $37,057

I'd look into a different dealer. I always get a cash price from internet communication, then work from there. Good luck!
