Cement TRD Sport 4wd DCLB with premium and tech and a few other options. MSRP was $42,750 and got it for $39,250 + ttl. So Cal.

...^^^... Good price ... especially if you are in the "SEC Cartel" region.

Bought a 2019 TRD OR 4WD today, msrp was 39,100. Paid 34100 (+TTL). This was after 1000 rebate + 500 cash back this weekend for presidents day.

Autonation Toyota Cerritos, hitup internet salesman Josh Lewis, super helpful guy. Socal pricing is tough, I was almost gonna buy from Freeman but this pricing was the same discount they were offering up there.

That's about as good a deal as you can get in so Cal right now. You did well.

    Hello Everyone,
I just joined and wanted to know if this is a good deal.

I am looking at a 2019 Tacoma TRD Off-Road 4x4 6MT. The MSRP is $36,045. The dealer is offering it to me for $30,500 + a BS $800 Dealer fee.
What are your thoughts? Good deal?

$4700 off MSRP is a great deal. Most dealers would not sell that truck for that price unless there was other crap (paint and fabric protection, GAP insurance, extended warranty, etc.) in the deal that netted them a profit.

On principle, I thing the dealer fee is bullshit and generally would walk unless they took it off. In reality, the bottom line discount pricing is what you want and if still cheaper than elsewhere with the BS dealer fee, then go for it.

    Thank you for the response
Only the $800 dealer fee. It is a cash purchase, nothing else
I agree, yet it is still the best price and I did not even have to negotiate.

TRD Pro manual MSRP $44,202 for $41,408.42 plus tax and license. Not as good as I could have gotten off with an offroad but under invoice isn't bad for a pro.

Can we speculate that once the 2020 starts arriving in dealer lots, the 19's will get massively discounted? Considering 2020 will have LED lighting, apple play, different grill/cloth seats ,,,minor upgrades but still significant to new buyers in the mid size truck market?

I spoke to a local dealer this weekend and they seem to expect end of September for 2020 models. I'm patiently waiting for the 2020 but if I see a '19 at a good discount, I'll be all over it.

No trade in, no financing, no service plan. I cut them a check and walked out the door no strings attached.

There will of course be some deals on 2019's, but the price point difference 2019 vs 2020 will most likely be a more expensive 2020. Want a 2020 with all the new goodies, pay up.

Exactly, don’t expect the new features for free. MSRP for the trucks will go up thousands to have the LED lights, JBL, power seats etc.
