Negotiating now on a Sport 4x4 Access Cab... got few dealers with discounts between 4.25% to 5.7% off MSRP (NOT including the $1000 cash back)... ready to ask for final best price from each... any idea what I could expect or consider fair? Invoice is like 7% off MSRP.

If you can get 10% you got a great deal. Its not impossible, seen plenty here including myself get that much with rebate. Mine was $41.3k MSRP, after negotiated price and rebate $37.2k. Good luck!

Closed the deal today on my Tacoma!!

2019 Toyota Tacoma OR 4x4 DCSB A/T w/ PREMIUM/TECH packages in the super white color.

    MSRP: $41,370
    Price: $36,132 + TTL

Aaron was awesome! Not your typical sales guy. I found his contact information on this thread and called him. Right off the bat he quoted me his best price, no haggling. His exact words were, "I'm going to quote you a price nobody will touch" and he did just that. Afterwards, I must have called 100 dealers from Long Beach to Roseville, Reno and every where in between. It almost became like a challenge to find a better offer, but I could not find such offer. Nobody would touch his price! Some dealers had the exact same truck on their lots and would not budge. Some dealers who stated they had a "price match guarantee" found a way not to match it.

If you want a honest and best price right out of the gate, without all the BS, contact Aaron from Freeman Toyota for your Tacoma purchase.

The problem i had with some dealers in my area was when I inquired about one of the tacomas on there website I would get reply back from one of the regular sales people instead of a internet or fleet manager.

All the "regular" sales people are overseen by the fleet and online managers. Ignore the regular ones for a day or two and the others will chime in most likely. If not just negotiate with the regulars until they chime in anyways. Make sure to use a fake email.

Just stop all emails for a couple of days and you'll see others emailing you saying; " Hi ____ , I'm the fleet manager (or online) and I noticed your talking with my associate about inquiring a Tacoma. I can offer you this price of $________, what can we do to earn your business?? Please email me at ________.

Tell them your quoting different prices from other dealers around the area and want to know your best deal. Then compare quote on quotes and negotiate the best price without sounding desperate. When you get the absolute best price, start negotiating add on like weather-tech floor mats, pro-trd grill, blackout package, LED cargo bed light, ect... trust me they can add one or two of these things on to make the deal and it doesn't hurt to try.

Make sure to email a lot of dealers in your area to get this kind of deal.

    Goodluck man.

Nice! Congrats! I drove 350 miles (Long Beach) to get to Freeman Toyota in Santa Rosa for a costco auto buying program deal. 2018 dcsb 4x4 in M/T with Tech. So no premium like you got. Got a $36,xxx OTD price(500 rebate at the time)! 1k cheaper than in Southern Cali and they had the manual. Short trip to Russian River brewery then just a nice 350 mile back home....

I recommend the Costco auto buying program if anyone is on the fence about it
You get an instant quote and OTD price from the dealer near you with what options you want. No BS. I had to circumvent some things to get a quote by a dealer NOT in the area where I registered my Costco program at (when you enter your info online it only auto populates dealers near you). But it worked regardless!!! Saved me around $3k and the hassle of sitting there and getting the run around.....

Offer: 2019 TRDOR, MT6, DCSB, with Premium and Tech package for 36,115 out the door (35,688 + TTL of 427 = $36,115)

Thoughts? Is that as good as I'm gonna get? Declining rebate in lieu of 1.9% APR
MSRP 39688. Hoping to do the deal Monday when it arrives at the dealership.

Hey, guys. Would appreciate your opinions on this one...

Just picked up my 2019 TRD OR 4x4 DCSB MT w/ Tech + Premium in Cement. Including the $1k rebate, truck came to $33,750 + $85 Doc fee + TTL. I've been doing my research for months and know this is a good deal. But what I didn't do my research on were warranties. The finance lady tried to sell me 10yr/100,000mi for $3.8k or something crazy. Then multiple price drops brought it down to ~1.5k. She also threw in a $500 rebate. I felt that ~1k for this rebate was a good deal (monthly payment increased ~$20 for 60mo loan). My girlfriend just had to rebuild a tranny and my buddy just had to put ~3k into his 2nd Gen's AC, air compressor, etc. So I was seeing value in this in the heat of the moment.

However, last night on TV I see $1,500 cash back on Tacomas and confirmed this online. It must have just increased another $500. Now I'm pissed off that the finance lady (1) didn't explain this up front, (2) used it as leverage to bring down the price of the rebate, and (3) ultimately said she'd let me keep the $500 if I didn't take the warranty. I feel cheated on this. It's my first time financing a vehicle/making a purchase this big and I thought I had all of my bases covered. Now I need to decide if I should cancel this warranty or not. If cancelled, cost would be $33,250 + $85 + TTL and monthly payment would drop from $415->$385 ($30 swing since I'm keeping the $500).

What do you guys think? Warranty worth $1.5k? I'm going to send her an email to see what she has to say/offer.
