Just got my 2019 DCSB OR M/T with tech and premium packages, tonneau cover, with all weather floor mats.

    Msrp was $39,808

Got it for $34,383+TTL+6 year warranty came out to 36 something out the door, used $1,000 factory rebate and $500 recent grad rebate to get the price down after negotiations

You don't give enough info. 40 grand including TTL+doc fees could be a great deal for that trim and options, depending how high your TTL is. If it's 40 grand before TTL, that's still under MSRP, even just considering the factory/port options, but not what you'd call a great deal. You can't necessarily compare to deals in other locations, and you may not end up with a better deal. Chalk it up to a lesson learned...don't rush purchases of BTI.

The total was 42,781 After taxes and fees. My 7 day return table doesn't start till I actually pick up the vehicle which probably won't be till the second week of april. So I have some time to shop around. Will having set up financing for a vehicle through Toyota and canceling it effect me when I eventually try to set up financing at another dealership in such a short time span?

When you buy a vehicle from everything I’ve ready and heard, during a 2 week time period you aren’t penalized as harshly when having your credit run even if it’s at multiple dealerships. It penalizes you as if it was one hard inquiry. I could be wrong, but I’ve seen literature and multiple YouTube videos that have said that. May want to do a little research on that topic to see for sure.

Hey just wanted to let you know I bought from Koons Tyson’s yesterday. I worked with Daniele Bava. He is an Italian guy and a great salesperson. I posted my deal I got a few posts up so check it out if you have time. Hit me up if you have any questions. Have a great one!

Thank you for getting back to me! Not bad at all! I like to have multiple dealerships I can shop around at! How was the whole process? Did you email/call them first to have your credit run?

Okay so I went to their website found a truck I wanted and clicked “Unlock WOW price”. They emailed me with the price they could offer. Then... I received an email saying they would knock off $500 from that price.

The process was SUPER simple and very very efficient. I went when they opened at 8:30 yesterday morning and was out by 11:30 with my truck. That included test drive negotiating and everything.

Daniele is a great dude. I told him I wanted the best OTD price and they delivered the best price I’ve ever seen and I took the deal.

$32,117 for a manual Off Road is a great price! Remember that even included the $799 processing fee, taxes, and DMV.

It was the easiest and cheapest experience I’ve ever had.

That is a huge dealership so if you go just make sure you go early and they will get you outta there in no time.

That does sound like you got a great deal. Among the best I've seen in this thread. If I'm figuring it right by backing into the numbers, the total discount off MSRP, including the toyota rebates of 1750, was about $6800! Some good timing and good choice of dealer on your part, since they must have been up against a monthly incentive threshold where the dealership stood to gain far more from their dealership-wide unit sales bonus than they'd lose in giving that discount. A person may or may not be able to get that same deal today since today is the end of the month (i.e. if they've already hit their bonus threshold for March they don't have incentive to discount). In any case, major congrats!

Thanks. I have been waiting until the time was right and the end of March was a good time for savings. I was going to wait until the end of April but that deal was too hard to pass up. I wasn’t even planning on getting the military rebate but it has changed to vets as well now. It used to only be for active or out within 6 months. I would have qualified for the college grad either way but that was $500 so I got the $750 instead. You can’t combine those two so I took the $750 obviously. Lol.

Either way I can’t say enough about the dealership. I thought since they were a high volume dealership they wouldn’t be so willing to take the time and effort to get me where I wanted to be, but they were more than willing to help gain my business. I would definitely travel there again. I had a couple bad experiences with my old dealer so I’m glad I now have a place I can count on to get me the best price. Again, the vehicle and timing does matter but I couldn’t be more satisfied.

Posted several days ago but just finally closed a deal. 2019 TRD Sport Access Gray Auto 4x4 MSRP $37k... dealer discount was -$2.6k... rebate -$1k. Basically got the vehicle at invoice w/ dealer discount then minus the rebate. Overall very happy with the deal. What I wanted and in an access cab was hard to find here in PA but the dealer did a dealer trade, which took a week and i dunno why it did take that long? Some advice to others is that if you wanna buy something that is on the dealers lot you got more negotiating leverage... dealer trades suck. Also, i never realized how important financing is to a dealership. I asked several times about what the interest rates were and never got a serious answer. Dealer said they had to do a credit report (which they did), dealer wanted to know exact terms i wanted (term and cash down) but i gave a few options but wouldn't commit to it unless i knew the rates... what a mess. The day of the sale I had financing backup plan as I had our home equity checks and finally the dealer had to divulge the rate. I know the dealer makes money on the transaction but I basically had that backup option knowing I could give the dealer $0 for profit on financing. Thanks to everybody in this thread for helping out. I will post some pics and trucks details in my own thread... will be parting some things off for sale at a really good price, but once i get to 50 posts. Good Luck!

Great information!! I'll have to give them a call! Seriously, thank you! I always like to speak with someone who has actually gone through the whole process there and can give me legit experience!
I want to see if they are taking deposits on 2020's!

No clue about that but they may be doing so. I just felt like the 20’s didn’t have enough to make me regret not waiting. I am sure if I want the headlights I can add them later and the power seat is a waste of money for my purposes. Only thing that would be nice is the headunit with Apple CarPlay. Also... I feel like most of the perks like lights etc will be added costs, so I chose to get a better deal on a truck with the stuff I need and take it from there. If you see the guy I went to tell him Tedric says hey and thanks for an awesome deal!

Makes perfect sense! I'm glad that you're happy with what you got! Not a lot of people are with their purchases. Once I see the pricing as it gets closer,I'll judge whether to stick with a 19 or go all in on a 2020. I'll be sure to try and speak with Daniele!

He is apparently the top salesperson in the whole Koons company. I had no idea beforehand. He just was the one that emailed me back so I got lucky I guess! Keep me posted on what you end up with!

Bought my 2019 MGM Sport DCSB over the weekend for $39,000 + tax. It has Prem+Tech packages, the tonneau cover, bed mat, all weather mats and sill protector, MSRP was $42,418. I'm in Indiana and they also had to ship it to my local dealer from West Virginia, which they did in about 5 days. The dealership also offers 3 years of maintenance instead of Toyota's typical 2 years and a Lifetime Powertrain warranty that seems pretty legit. Weekly car washes for those first 3 years too

Not a 2019, but I did get a 2018 TRD Off-Road at the end of the year for $31,000 + TTL. Pretty darn good deal!

Forgot to add one other piece of advice... here in PA the blue laws are still in effect so therefore dealerships are closed on Sundays which makes it an excellent time to visit and look around casually without being annoyed by some salesperson... if you can find time during daylight hours when the dealership is closed then that you can peruse then do it and do it often... its like touching and licking every piece of candy at the counter except you can't eat any... so to speak

I am amazed on how you guys get those deals.. i end up paying 36089 OTD TRD Off Road MT White, i fought for the Predators steps and it was negative.. that was the best price after dealing with 8 different dealerships. At least i get the 1.9 APR for 60 Months. Anyway thank you all for the tips.

I've been lurking on Tacomaworld for about a year now and I feel that a Tacoma is the truck for me and I'm finally ready to purchase.

Before I sign on the dotted line...can I get a sanity check?
2019 TRD off road, DCSB, AT, no tech, no premium, door sill protector, oval tube steps and soft tonneau cover. $34,455 OTD (not including TTL)

I have another quote from another dealership for a nearly identical truck at $34,786.

I've checked true car and in my area this truck is averaging $34,471.

I haven't stepped foot in either of these dealerships yet so hopefully I can knock a little more off. But where "should" I be at with this truck?
