How much are you paying for your 2019 Tacoma?

Cool. I thought you had the inside scoop on a website that tracks the number of days a vehicle sits on a lot.

 

I did get the tip from a friend but it's not so much as finding a certain website.... It's more like having patience and knowing what you want.

I spent something like 7 or 8 months looking for the right truck for me.

That also comes from driving my previous truck for 18+ years.

 

wanted to see if this is actually a decent deal....

MSRP ballpark around $31,000. I went in asking for $27,000 and they gave me $25,000 contingent on financing. This confused me because I was a little shocked a car dealership would offer me even lower than my first price. Threw my off my negotiating game frankly but I was very pleased with the price.

I am new to the forums and this is my first new truck so any tips or advice is appreciated.

I just picked up a 2019 TRD Off-Road double cab 5’ bed automatic with the tech package and door sill/floor mats and my sale price before tax/title/license was $34,599. Cheapest I could find in Utah

Got mine brand new in march 2019 DCSBv6MT TRD Offroad for 35.5k in Alaska. W/ tech package and factory tonneau, all weather mats/sill plates, bed tie downs

MSRP was 37 something

Too tall for the premium package

 

Do you mind mentioning which dealer? I am in LA and wouldn’t mind visiting family in Texas and get a truck on the way back.

I was OTD and on the road for $800 under what the trucks Window sticker was. (I paid in Cash)
A Toyota Employee would be OTD about $1,000-$1,500 below the window sticker. So I guess I did ok.

Since everywhere has different charges TTL etc... And thousand different options and upgrades, it's really hard to get a decent gauge on what is a good deal is on these trucks. (Or any vehicle for that matter)

The sticker on my TRD OR with Premium and Technology Packages was $41,170.

According to Kelley Blue Book, the average buyer near me was paying $1,500 below sticker. I paid $40,000 with taxes and license included.

Either I got lucky or caught the dealer on a good day.

There was no discount for the TRD Pro's. I got it for $3k off of sticker.

 

$3k off MSRP for a ‘19 Pro is a killer deal. What state are you in? The best deal on Pro’s in CA that I found is $2k off sticker (Freeman Toyota).
