At first I was thinking, what is a "all weather map" and then I realized it is a typo and should be "mat". Ok, next question: what is a "side panel protector"? I don't think there is a typo here, just my lack of knowledge.

3k off the original MSRP is a really good deal. Any reason you didn’t buy it.

I don’t think I’ve seen “market value” selling price before and agree with you that it’s unusual. I personally think that’s BS which is why the truck has been sitting for 44 days. When I bought mine on June 1st, several dealerships in my area where selling Tacoma’s daily. The MSRP on mine was about $39,200 and I bought for around $34,600. I posted the details a few pages earlier.

Good luck, if you something doesn’t seem right or fair, move on to another dealership or be prepared to be an aggressive negotiator.

    It's complicated.
I've seen that term "market value" (though under different names) for HOT cars where there is very little supply, and insane demand: think of the white Ford Bronco after the O.J. Simpson slow-speed highway chase. Dealerships were selling them for 3x & 4x the MSRP, because people HAD to have them.

But this is not that, and this "stealership" is out of its mind. You should run away, because there are reasons that truck is still there, and likely, not good ones.

Just picked up 19 Super White TRD OR DCSB tech package, other dealer bs that got waived off. MSRP 40k, got it for 36k+ TTL. Saw the invoice and it was legit

Bunk: I think you can do a little better. You should be able to get it at least $5000 below MSRP.

    It's complicated.
Thanks! I'm going shopping this week, with the plan of buying, on Sunday--provided I get what I want. I'm not in a hurry, and could wait till September 30.
    Right now, I have 2 quotes for a 2019 TRD Off-Road DCLB, w/ premium & tech packages: $̶3̶6̶,̶0̶2̶3̶ ̶&̶ ̶$̶3̶6̶,̶8̶0̶0̶ $36,823 & $36,617 from MSRP of $42,378.

I need to apologize--I'm a bit dyslexic, and I've talked to so many dealers that I conflated some of the numbers. I just noticed this, this morning, and I need to correct myself. I'm leaving my original incorrect numbers (strike-through), and adding the correct ones next to them, and updating my comment below. Apologies for this.

In the corrected quotes, the $36,823 is from the out-of-state dealership 3 states away. Though his price is higher, I've decided to buy from him, as he's (thus far) provided MUCH better customer service!

I'll post photos of the docs after I complete the buy.

They have the lowest advertised price I've seen on a Pro (Black or White only, not voodoo blue). $2500 below MSRP is pretty good from what I've seen.

Still need to make a decision.

Thanks for this thread, btw. Helps us Toyota noobs out a lot.

2019 Tacoma 4x4 Off Road, Double Cab, Long Bed in Cement...there were three or four on the lot. Walked up, bought the truck in about 4 hours. I think I paid something like $37.5K for mine before additional accessories (topper, brake booster, extended service plan ~i’m lazy~, etc...) I think the total was something like $40-41K-ish.

My philosophy, MSRP - (any stuff you didn’t ask for) = AdjMSRP * 0.95 = price I’ll pay. If the dealer is close to that, I’ll buy it. Accessories are based on individual prices. I like things to be easy.

Hello everyone, would anyone be able to provide feedback on what you think a fair OTD price for this vehicle would be?

I’d offer 27.5 or 28k. There’s no way The TSS package is worth $4,000.

Hit up Kendall of Eugene and Bend. Avoid the Portland dealers like the plague if you can. I got 4K off msrp the first week the 2018’s hit the lots from Kendall Eugene. No incentives and that was off just an SR5. More meat on the bones on TRDs especially now. Pretty sure the sales rep at Gladstone is the one who called me a liar that I was getting 4K off a 2018 at the time. His manager had to apologize profusely lol I’d shoot for 5k off at the least right now on a 2019.

Edit: Looks like the two quotes you have are already solid! Unless that includes an incentive. I’d shoot for 5k off plus any incentive.
