Sure, if you pay what they are asking for, you'll make up for any discount you think you got on the truck. At the right price, I've done prepaid maintenance in the past for go-fast cars that weren't known for their incredible reliability.

I already do my own basics, oil, and tires, but I haven't messed with transmission or diffs yet. I usually get the factory extended warranty down to a couple hundred bucks bc it just can't hurt to have it if anything goes south.

Any advise here? Local dealer seems to have a decent deal just with "e-price".
2019 TRD OR DCSB, auto, tech package, plus $902 in accessories I wouldn't chose but don't hate (floor/sil protectors, pulse brakes, tailgate inlay, black emblems). It's QS which is what I want and harder to find than the white/black/gray.

    MSPR $38,630+902= $39,532
    E-Price $36,785
Invoice $35,883 (per Costco site - not including accessories)
Invoice $36,633 (according to sales rep via email - including accessories)

So looks like the e-price is just invoice + full price accessories. There is also the $1000 rebate or 1.9% financing on top of this.

Any chance of getting a better deal here? What should I reasonably ask for?

All depends location and sales and those dealer add ons are complete crap just trying squeeze every penny. I say if they waive off those add ons you got s good deal there.

That's kind of what I was thinking. I wouldn't check the box for any of that if I was building one. I'm in western WA.

That's an interesting option. Are the Pro wheels a dealer option for these? Skid plate maybe? Hmmm...

Just this week picked up a 2019 Limited in black. Door sill + all weather floor mats, 5” black oval tube steps. $37300 + tt ( including the current $1000 cash back.) Sticker/MSRP was $42677.No funny business with the finance guy except the $1945 extended warranty offer that was a hard pass. No trade so the TN sales tax really hurt. Long time lurker on TW, love this taco so far.

When I buy a new vehicle I know what the invoice on the extended warranty is. Then when i'm at the can't get it any lower price I tell them they have a deal if they sell the extended to me for x.
Does anyone know the invoice for the extended warranty for an or 4x4 dcsb?

Go on the t4r*org forums and look for platinum warranties and a thread from gamester5. Prices are insane! When I told the Denver dealer what price I could get he told me that was below his cost. 4Runner prices was the same as my Tacoma dcsb or.

How is that? The MSRP on that truck is north of 43K with the options. Haven't noticed too many people score 8 to 9k off msrp.

    Mostly old man mods
19 Quicksand DCSB TRD OR with the tech package and the usual accessories other than side steps (which I did not want). 33,700 +TTL. Doc fee was $80 and the rest set by California. We connected with Valley Hi Toyota through Car Gurus. We had plenty of offers through the other Toyota dealers in the area (there are around 6 or so) but Valley Hi found exactly what I was looking for and hit me up with a good bottom line price. Nothing changed between the offer and the purchase, there were no contingencies like "with Toyota financing" and the whole thing was very transparent. Some of the other dealers were just throwing anything they had at me to see if something stuck instead of listening to what I wanted. In many cases the pricing was inflated with over-priced accessories or dealer nonsense charges.

Don't forget what the S in MSRP stands for. I paid $32k + TTL for my truck (2019 Off Road DCSB with tech package). No special incentives or discounts either.

For my area, I don’t think so. Do I think I got a true smoking deal? No. But the 38k OTD included those stupid side steps that are already off the vehicle, g2 tri fold bed cover, and all weather floor mats. Keep in mind that I got the premium package as well.

To me, it is an awesome deal... I talked to several dealers in ATL, and I asked the OTD price for TRD Sport 4WD DB Short bed plus tech and premium pkg, the price would not even go below 38.5k...

I have to admit, I'm a bit jealous seeing what y'all paying for your trucks. I've read through the "How much are you paying for your 2018 Tacoma?" thread last year and was amazed at the deals. Having the ability to walk away and go to another dealer if you're not happy about the price is huge. Not so here in Hawaii. You either pay the MSRP or catch a "once a year promo" for $750 off is about it.

There is a saying in Hawaii, and is so true, that living in paradise comes at a price. Maybe I should just stay off the "how much are you paying" threads.
