I went through kind of the same internal struggles, but at the end of the day said "hey, this is a good deal and I'm happy with it. There's a chance it could go away." So I jumped on it and am not looking back.

At the end of the day, it's not likely to be a difference of thousands for a future deal. It could be hundreds, sure, but you have to balance the probability of that with the probability that the truck gets sold out from under you or the deal becomes a wash because the incentives go away. Or the distinct reality that the deal could get worse because the dealer no longer has $1750 of incentives to work with.

I'm not trying to convince you to go one way or the other, but just sharing some insight into my thought process.

Couldn't agree more. If you see the truck you want, get it now. It may or may not be there when the 2020s come. You're talking about the difference in the hundreds, not thousands. Is it worth waiting and possibly not getting the exact truck you want? I would pay a few hundred more if it mean't the truck I was getting was the truck I wanted from the beginning.

Kansas City, although I purchased the truck in Lawrence, KS and the dealer had to bring it in from out of state.

Awesome looking rig!! And $6.5K off is great too!! At that MSRP, I assume it has tech and premium packages?

Tech, premium, predator steps, all weather mats and door sill protectors, trd front skid plate, and black out package. I wanted all of them except the black out package, but this was the only truck available and at 6.5k off I took it.

Ok....sounds great! We are heading down to the Durango Toyota tomorrow so my wife can test drive a 4runner. I will be testing out a Tacoma. I'm with you....the black out package is the only one that was on yours that I would be opinionless if it had it or not.

I'm purchasing this labor day. Just put a deposit down. 19 trd or dcsb quicksand with tech, all weather/sill and mudguards. I'm $36,500 out the door. MSRP $39500 about. I played a bunch of dealers off against each other.

Had a great deal on a trd or dcsb in cement with tech/premium and all the accessories. I started another thread on it. I think i had them down 6k off msrp. Still 40k out the door. I ended up going with my first color choice and no premium package. (Apparently not available in the quicksand in my region)

I got a rate of 3% from my bank. Haven't even tried at the dealership yet. Going to have them beat my bank hopefully. How did you get the 1.9% financing? What deal is this? I'm not aware of it. Thanks.

Toyota has some incentives through the end of the weekend... $750 customer cash plus an additional $1000 customer cash or 1.9% financing. My guess is that your good prices include the $1750 but you got a good rate from your bank so they may match or beat by a little.

Gotcha. Yes I did get the $1750 and was aware of that. I was not aware that there is an option for either the $1750 or 1.9%. I'm not sure how I missed that. Thanks.

    It's $750 +1.9% OR $1750
