So you keep a couple hundred and a spare debit card under your mattress? I call BS. A couple hundred isn't even enough for a trip to the grocery, certainly not worthy of ripping up your sheets and blankets for, and spare debit card? No such thing, at least not from the same bank. When one card is issued, it deactivates the previous card. I say you're just bored and posting for giggles and shits.
What do I carry? Enough to make my usual purchases convenient. No need to put my plastic at risk of theft or hacking. I have several cards, each dedicated to its own type of purchase for ease of record keeping, and those issuing banks are instantly alerted by unusual activity.

I have no cash, no gold, nothing of value to be used, traded, bartered or consumed. Just things that create holes.

I can't speak for your bank, but mine will give me extras for other people to use, for example, kids, wife, etc.

Depends on why you got the new card. I asked for a replacement since mine was used so much it almost faded from existence. They sent me another card but both still work. Just a random fact. Carry on.

In California? I know its only a FEDERAL crime in Colorado, but I believe its also a state crime in California. So buy with CC only if you really don't mind having your door broken down by LEOs shortly thereafter.

You cant buy mary jane with a credit card since its schedule 1, you and your bank would be committing a federal crime. Moral of the story is, it was a joke, but someone took it very serious :duh:

Nope, just nope... I have multiple debit cards for the same account. He could also just have multiple checking accounts, one with some reserve funds for emergencies. And your cash is at way higher a risk of theft, there is no recovering cash once it's gone. At least you can cancel a card and most banks protect you against fraudulent charges. My credit card was phished once, and Chase waived thousands of dollars in fraudulent charges for me. If it was cash that had been stolen there is a zero percent chance I would ever see it again.

I never really let it get below 1/2 tank anyway. Growing up in the country before the age of '24-hour-pumps' meant you always kept at least 1/2 tank in the car, and I've never really kicked the habit. :notsure:

Just googled it, had no idea. Seems that if you do though they won't be knocking on your door so much as the actually dispensary selling it. Explains why I see alot of dispensaries popping up and going down so quickly around here. That or not paying taxes.

I wonder what that’s like. Back in the day, I either had contraband or cash but never both at the same time.
