I wouldn't even try to attempt that. Insurance just total it out? What do you tell insurance if something like this happens on the trail?

Yep, that would be whipsaw. My most favorite trail......

I guess I'm gaining a bit of a reputation! As in "don't do what this guy tries" lol

I was actually the last one through and everyone else made it, it's all about the line you take and sometime inches matter. I just sucked it up and didn't go through insurance, had some good friends help me out, paid out of pocket and got my engine swapped and back on the road. Live and learn, and snorkel is a great insurance policy! Lol

Went back this year, completed the trail to prove my truck is tougher then the trail. Spoonman was on the trip and it was a blast!

Donahoe CO's, Deaver leaf paks, Lockright Locker, All Pro body armor ( sliders, front and rear bumpers ), All Pro under belly skids, Warn M8K w/Masterpull synthetic line, Dual Optima battery system, 4 ea LightForce Striker 170 offroad lights, 8 ea wired rock lights, and plenty more I'm sure
I traveled to and wheeled Moab 4 years in a row (annual run)...
besides the gas, lodging, food monies spent...
I never spent a dime on repair.

But that's likely 'cause pre-maintenance labor comes free to me.
    ^ ummm... 'cause I don't charge muhself :p

I have never broke muh junk on a trail
and still sport every original part of the drive line.

I think many peeps must drive their junk like they stole it...
or that somebody else will be footing 'da bill :p

The most expensive thing I've destroyed on a trail run...
    ...was cutting a tire down

But I have been witness to a ton of noobs
    farking up their junk ;)

Somebody needs to bring 'da entertainment :D
