I am wondering how much people spend on themselves compared to what they spend on everyone else. I spent about half as much on myself as everyone else combined, so 1:2.

I'm more like 4:1. I spent a lot more on everyone else than I did on myself. I bought myself a 3 ton jack with stands and a creeper on sale at Sears :D

    HA!! This makes me laugh......

    THis year? Let's see......

2 months ago - $1200 on new water softener
2 weeks ago - $600 on furnace repairs
Over the last month - $7000+ on totally new bathroom
Tonight? Probably another $1200 on new washer & dryer (dryer died and washer is on its last legs)

Yeah, every year....it's kinda like that. :D

Spent $0 on myself this Christmas. I actually sold a lot of my play stuff (ps3, snowboard stuff) so I can afford bills since I got laid off.

Lets see, I just bought me a new laptop at $650, getting real retro headlights for the truck, that was about $800 and I just bought some Linkin Park concert tickets last night for around $220, got a new snowboard, bindings and boots for a total of around $500. So yeah, I spent a good amount on myself I guess you would say.:D

Ah the joys of being a happy homeowner. I feel your pain. I am having $1900 worth of siding work done.

Burning that candle at both ends. You dog you. Woof Woof.

Nothing. I've got a wife and two kids, with another on the way. I make sure they are taken care of first, then something for me. Unfortunately, there's nothing left for me...

I'll get more satisfaction from giving presents to my girls than I would from buying myself something anyhow.
