$0, still working, essential, and apparently too well off, which in California means just covering bills but not severely in debt

its because we aren't driving Jeeps and Luxury Cars that break all the time. Our money spent on vehicles is upgrading them, not keeping them on the road.

That's probably among the better purchases that money could go towards.

I got nothing, but that's OK because I don't need it. I know some do.
What rubs me the wrong way about it though is it was a handout based on nothing but past income limits. Not based on current need. Plenty of people are getting it that have not been affected financially, some are even getting it that didn't have income prior to this. If it's a feel good handout, then let everyone feel good, especially those paying in. If it's need based, tack it on to unemployment.

Married and 2 kiddos. I’m not working my full time job since I work in movie studios and that’s not considered essential. Still doing a bunch of side work and grateful for a good savings account. Didn’t know what to expect and I got $3400. Guess I’m pretty stoked on that

I got more than $0. Bummed that my flight to Paris for June probably won’t happen anymore, and they refuse to give me a refund. Just gotta keep pushing back the dates I guess.

Um, I'm pretty sure that's illegal? I'd do some homework on that if you aren't willing to be jerked around and want a refund.

The airline refuses a refund as I didn’t pay for that cancellation policy, but they offered to reschedule and move the date around. I’m going to look into it more though and try and get my refund.

Like anything every done by the Government it has flaws, Not giving it to people that need it due to lost or slow work but made above the cut off last year, giving it to people who don't need it because essential work hasn't slowed down but made less than the cut-off. Costs of living vary so much in the US it is crazy, $1200 here in a "decent" part Austin will pay a months rent on a 1 bedroom apartment... but that's it; and it isn't paying shit in a "decent" part of Cali or NY. It was a flawed design from the get-go by the Dems who thought it up over wine one night it the Hills of Beverly. Now with the $2k a month thought process, who knows... shit is all kinds of screwed up right now.
