I've bought two Tacomas in the past few months and got both for roughly $3000 below MSRP if that helps at all.

Same here, didn't have much leverage since they didn't have what I wanted but I still got a pretty fair deal since it was the fourth Toyota we bought from the same sales guy

2011 TRD Sport, 4x4, DC, JBL w/Bluetooth, tow package, short bed, auto, painted side steps, cat back exhaust, front skid plate, paint protection film kit, TRD Supercharger installed, (i think that all of it) for $36,400. Paid no tax as my trade in value that was sold on consignment was worth more than the truck and all combined.

4x4 and non 4x4 makes a big difference.

2011 TRD Sport $32,011 MSRP for $29,775. It was a demo with 2,000 miles but it was the only red TRD Sport left in St. Louis and I could tow that weekend without having to break it in first.

Tow is the only option to the Sport that you listed all others are standard. What took so long?

Oh yeah, $200 over invoice with tow, dlr, floor mats and running boards.

I can't speak for cruzitaco, but I can speak for dealers in Eastern Washington, both Spokane and Pullman. I would strongly recommend the Pullman dealer if you're ever over there (or even if you're not, it's probably worth a trip). I got my truck for way less than MSRP and even less than Invoice. See this post earlier in this very thread.

Toyota of Pullman has I think what they call "Straight to the Point" pricing and from what I saw, it was literally just the invoice price. But you can negotiate even lower. I'll refer you to a much more respectable salesman than I've ever met if you're interested.

Mine's a 2010 4x4 TRD Sport, w/o the JBL package. I bought mine brand new last year for $27,700 with free maintenance for 2 years (it wasn't standard at that point yet) and 0% for 3 years. I also got $12,000 for my 2003 Prerunner on a trade. I got a really good deal by playing Toyota for their horrible sales during the recall debacle. They were desperate.

The reason for telling you this, is it all depends on how bad they want to sell their product. Now is probably not the right time to buy with their production down due to the earthquake and tsunami mess.

Having said that, use the edmunds site to find the invoice price. Use that as your negotiation start point. Also, make sure they don't screw you on your trade (if you have one) or sell your current vehicle on your own.

Just a few tidbits I've learned from my bro-in-law who owns his own dealership and ran a Toyota dealer for many years. Good luck.
