I know the sales manager well and he gave me 500 below invoice and tossed in a few extras. Stick price was $29,064. Got it down to 24,100 (before taxes) after rebates for Prerunner TRD Sport + JBL, Double Cab, Long Bed.
The finance manager wanted 2k for the extended warranty. F That!

For anyone that got the 2k rebate, did you pay taxes before or after the rebate?

new offer from a dealer. sticker "MSRP" $28,903. After tax, rebate and all that good stuff the offer is $25,673. Plus i'll get $326 back because its out of the state and they cant collect taxes on my state, also $600 from my trade which brings it down to $24,773 I'd be paying.

    Mag Grey (color i want)
2WD TRD Off Road (with smoked headlights)
    ToyoGuard
    6 Disc
    DRL
    v6 towing package

what do you guys think? pretty good to me

Well, this might be the right place to ask this, as I hope to make this a "this is hwat I paid" post.

Truck is - new, 4wd quad cab, short bed, 4x4, trd sport w/jbl, with towing package. For you guys who know your packages, thats PQ, TO and CF (cf is floormats woot, comes with everything)

Offer is $28632 and that includes the 1k rebate. Total OTD is $31750. I'm in arizona.

Is this good? I got the same quote locally, but without the towing package, everyone else has been 2-300$ higher. So thats the best I've seen yet.

Yeah, mine stickers at 31600. I tried cars direct, theyre saying 28800 for what my other guy is taking 28600. I only have 400$ in doc fees... Ive heard theyre really outrageous in other areas though.

    "only"

    What a scam, sheesh.

Editing to add - I actually want the silver! Too dusty here for black. Might get the gray if they have it, as a second choice.

Mine is '09, White DC, Prerunner, Long Bed, TRD/Sports/JBL/extra value package for $23,963 (sticker was $29,064) before TTL. They charged tax before the 2K rebate. I also got 7 yrs/70,000 miles extended warranty for $1,402 since this is not my main vehicle.

Hey White09DC, which dealership did you get yours from? Did you have to go there a few times to get that price? I thought i did good with $24,100. We got the same exact truck, color, and setup. I just didnt opt for the extended warranty. Motorwise, the truck isnt gonna really break down, its the electronics. Im trying to see if I should chance it without the warranty.

Nate, i know someone in this thread said it wouldnt be worth it unless it was under 25k, but for me, it would bug me spending that much on a slightly used truck. What kind of deal will they give you a brand new one? It probably wont have the smoked headlights but at least you can decide if maybe spending an extra 1500-2000 would be worth spending for a new truck.

Nate, is that with a trade in? Or straight across? You guys are all talking about 2k less than what any dealer has offered me so far.

There was a Toyota incentive in the form of a 2k cash back rebate last month. It just ended on June 1st. It was 2k off double cabs and 1k off access or single cab. I dunno what the incentive is now. Maybe its only 1k off. I didnt see anything on the toyota website though. Thats where i found out about it.

What? The warranty is refundable? BUt im sure if you take it in for some cheap $300 fix, then you wont get a refund. Let me know, if thats the case, i just might pay for it as well. I even tried Longo Toyota and the best they could do was 26100 before rebate. It took that quote to Toyota of El Cajon and thats the price they matched. Shoot. You beat me by $150.

with my trade, rebate, and everything else its $25,600 out the door. i still get $324.39 plus since he's giving me $14,000 I'll get around another $600 because i owe less than $14,000. So I'm basically paying around $24,500.

    MSRP was $28,903

4k off sticker, nice. I'm being quoted about 3k off. I want more!

Wish I knew if Toyota was gonna do a 2k incentive deal next month instead of the 1k currently.

Hopefully I can post in here soon with my awesome deal and pics of my new baby.

6% Tint all around, Toyota all-weather floor mats, Toyota bed extender and skid plate, Python 991 remote-start alarm, oem cruise control and class III hitch were all installed within a couple months. I then installed Icon c/o's and Icon's 3-leaf aal with 17x9" GA9's and 285/70/17 Goodyear Duratrac's. The DRL mod was done, as was a custom rack setup similar to the org. cross bars. Blacked out headlights bought online, and a BOSS 1500 under-seat sub installed along with a Pioneer double-din DVD player
I was $1900 below invoice = $23,600 (before any doc fees, taxes, etc) for my 40 miles on the odo '09 DC, SB, 4x4, V6 auto in Pyrite Mica (base model).

I'd buy the Demo if you can get the price down enough. 2900 miles is nothing. Have them detail it, change the oil with synthetic, and tell them you want it in writing that they'll warranty it to 40,000 miles. See if you can't get them to do the TSB on it too.

almost $5,000 off of MSRP , Awesome deal and great color choice :D

Yea but i'm not sure how the managers son drove it and the deal i have on a brand new mag grey is lower than the demo. dont see them going any lower on the demo but i might ask. the rear tsb sounds like a good idea though. and then i'll ask them to throw leather in it :D;)
