Just bought my 2011 4X4 TRD Sport for $21600 with my trade in. I had an 03 4Runner that I got a pretty good trade in for. Worked pretty much all the dealerships in Houston and Fred Haas off of 45 gave me far and away the best deal.

$26,888 + TTL. Sticker was $29,444 and invoice was $27,426 so I'm pretty happy.

paid 15.5k for my 08 DC TRD OF with 39k and brand new arb, IPF lights, and BFG AT's.

 

paid $19,900 out the door back in Jan 08 for my 08 AC 2.7 4x4 w/ power windows/doors/sliding rear window...whatever package that is. had 2miles on her.

Yeah. I bought my 2009 w/ 6k on it with the same exact equipment, and while I didn't pay $28k, I probably would have for a new one if I could have found that price. Good job.

 

oh yeah, i didnt even have to do an ounce of work. i used two sources.
first: my dads company will argue prices with the dealership for you and
Two: went to consumer reports and they gave me the top three cheapest dealers around me. and this is the one that got me the cheapest

 

I got my 2007 TRD offroad with 36k miles for 25k. The truck came with allpro front bumper, Warn 8k wrench, PIAA 520 series, ARB front lockers, 285/75/16R BFG M/T KM1s and full size spare, 16" procomp wheels, Allpro sliders, 2.5" OME suspension lift with add a leaf in the back, Leer camper shell with a yakama roof rack. I wanna say there was more but thats all I remember.

 

A late model used Tacoma is almost impossible to find in the used market and when you do find one they want the same amount as a new one.
That tells me Tacoma Owners love their truck, the brand of trucks you see a lot of in the used market are the ones the owners didn't like in the first place!
People don't sell and trade in or get rid of cars and trucks they like.
simple as that!
we have a mega used car dealer in this area that sells close to 1000 used cars and trucks per month, they have every brand you can think of, before I got my new Tacoma I talked to the sales manager and told him I am looking for a used Tacoma, he told me he has none and they are hard to find, people hold on to them cause they love them, and if he had one he would sell it for top dollar and I was better off buying a new one and they have the best resale value of any truck out there.
