Bought my 2006 Ext. Cab 2.7L for $17,999 at Carmax in Aug. 2008. It had 8k miles on the ODO. Very clean and very happy with it.
Looked a long time and this was the best deal I found given the milage.

Thats not too bad. If you can find an 08 you can get a way better deal. thats what I did, mine was the last 08 4x4 and they wanted to sell it to get the 09's on the lot. The dealer I was at was also hurting for sales

Hell I wonder if I could just drive up to canada and buy a truck, then take it back into the states somehow? At the current exchange rate that would be a swift 23% discount, assuming there is no compensation for exchange rates.

that exchange rate i used is the posted rate wich is interbank $5 000 000 or more, then there might be some issues at the border you would have to find out for the US, but to import a car/truck from the states it has to stay 48 hrs at the border, then has to pass an inspection stating that all recalls have been done to it , and things like mandatory daytime running lights are done, so its doable but you have to look at the whole picture and your time to see if it's worth it, some manufacturers won't honor warenty some will, toyota/lexus does for importing cars from the states not sure about the other way round, honda/acura does not ,I live 15 km from buffalo so I know people who have done it, last summer the dollar was at par with us dollar so there was some deals to be had but we would have to go quite a distance from the border to get them, it's free trade but not for us common folk.

I have written quotes for 09 Double Cab, Long Bed, TRD Sport, Tow package. List is 31, 274. Sell Price $25,452.

Mind you that price came to me via email and I have not even called to to negotiate lower.

My problem is getting rid of my 04 Saab 9-5 Arc Wagon 109K miles for what I owe... $6K.

Will Presidents day bring better deals??

    I'm in Massachusetts.

Looks like a good deal. I see that your area has $2000 cash back on 09 DCs.

Thats about the same as I paid for an 08 last month.

2009 Tacoma Access Cab I4, 5spd, SR5 package, floor mats with door sill protectors. Timberland Mica, really wanted the color.

Paid $19972, out the door. MSRP listed on autotrader was $21294, ran the same truck through the edmunds website it was about $700 above invoice. Financed $16000

Picking it up on sunday in Billings, MT. No sales tax in MT which is awesome:D. I reside in ND, sometimes it's good to be a pilot.

The salesperson was straight with me and I with her, salemen and dealerships still do need to make money. Trying to stick the dealership for another $500 to $700, on a $20000 truck will only piss off the salesmen.

Can't wait for the 10 hour road trip home.

Out the door price or sticker? If you are asking sticker I paid $23995.00 for my 2005 SR5 Crew Cab 4x4 with 39k on it. For out the door it was like $28k I think:confused:
