    The extended warranty is worth one shiny penny when you trade your vehicle to the dealer and at least $1000 dollars when they sell it.

    Maybe if it was a Ferrari, I personally wouldn't give a crap if I bought a Toyota with or without warranty. Chances is your never going to get your moneys worth anyways.

    Again, warranties are cheap compared to the price of the vehicle that you are purchasing. If you shop dealerships, you can find that exact warranty for around $1200. But let's say OP paid $1500 for it. He's already used 2/3 of the warranty in terms of years. That means that the monetary value of the remaining 1/3 of the warranty is worth about $500. That's it... So if you want to ask $500 above what you initially wanted to sell the vehicle for, go for it, but nearly every buyer will try to talk you down more than $500 anyway.
