I have around $900 in my headlights. They look just as good and perform 100x better than OEM.

    BHLM + retrofit = winning

I'm using Boch Toyota South for pricing as they're pretty reasonable (I got my Pro fogs there)

    Grille
    PT228-35170 - 2016/2017 - $373
    PT228-35180 - 2018 - $172
    53141-35060 - 2018 TSS Garnish - $47

    Fogs
    PT228-35170-AA - Right Lamp - $181
    PT228-35170-AB - Left Lamp - $181
    PT228-35170-BA - Right Bezel - $47
    PT228-35170-BB - Left Bezel - $47

    Shift Knob(s)
    PTR57-35170 - Automatic - $89
    PTR57-35171 - Manual - $89

    Skid Plate
    PTR60-35160 - $358

    Headlamps
    81110-04280 - Right - $958
    81150-04280 - Left - $958

    Hood Scoop
    76181-04900 - $70

    Tail Lamps
    81560-04200 - Left - $131
    81550-04200 - Right - $131

    Badges
    75427-04060 - Right Door - $36
    75428-04020 - Left Door - $36
    75473-0c050 - Tailgate "4x4" - $16
    PT413-00150 - Tailgate "TRD PRO" - $34

    Wheels
    PT758-35170 - $197 / ea

    Exhaust
    PTR03-35061 - $626

    Suspension
    PTR61-35170 - $2,905 (TRDParts4U, most sites show it discontinued)

The only thing I haven't dug for is the seats.

Excluding tax / shipping, the non-performance mods, assuming you've got the right flares and a scooped hood will run approximately $4,172 for a 2016/2017, $4,018 for a 2018

    Factor in the exhaust and suspension and you're at $7,703 for a 2016/2017, $7,549 for a 2018

Feel free to add in if I'm missing any parts.

If it's a sport the diff is also different. So add a locker to that list.

But the sport doesn't have a locker or crawl control.

The hood is definitely closer to a grand. Trust me. It’s ofer 500 just for the parts and it comes not painted. Head lights also are significantly higher than 500. I had to get one replaced for the OR and it was close to a grand for 1.

He is going for appearance. To appear to be a pro but not actually a pro.

With that said Sport is definitely the easier route to go. Least have painted rear bumper caps and hood scoop the black fenders are easy to change out.

Yeah I know but if he wanted it to appear like a pro one look in the cab and you would see it's not and it would be more expensive to start with a sport and convert. All for what a hood? Plus if he went with a sport he'd have to buy new flares and front bumper pieces...
Take apart the front bumper . That is down time when you could just install a hood lights and an emblem and be close . I mean the pro and OR have way more in common. I'd much rather have a rear locker and crawl control than a hood . That is why I do. But to each their own . It costs more to do a aftermarket locker than the hood and there is no going back on the decision for crawl control. I had painted rear caps on my OR before I got my armor. It's not a sport only option.

Personally I think you would be better off going with an OffRoad because you can change the suspension to something way better than the Pro set. Other than that the mods are relatively easy and not all that expensive. The 2 biggest challenges are the headlights and the hood.

I’ve done pretty much all the changes except for the hood, shift knob, leather, and the badging. But I wanted different wheels/tires and a better suspension. I’m really happy with the outcome, and I think it looks way better than any Pros I see on the road. Plus, it’s a fun experience to go through and do the mods!

Off-Road is the best value for the buck out of the 3! (not including the SR5 or Limited)
