Do you need to know, or care?
Not quite sure what you mean here. In the states one would think if you are hurt the insurance would cover your medical costs, but I don't know. Also, if you are injured here you can still sue for injury, no different than the states. In Canada we do pay for medical insurance, but made up in our taxes, depending on your income. Similar to Obama care, from what I understand. We do have a maximum though, BC is about $80 a month for a single, which covers you for anything other than cosmetic surgery. No limit to visits or health care.

It seems Taco's are now on the top ten ticket list. Must be mud slinging tickets: (news story today)
The 10 cars found to get the most tickets are:
    Lexus ES 300
    Nissan 350Z
    Dodge Charger SE/SXT
    Volkswagen Jetta GL
    Chevrolet Monte Carlo LS/LT
    Mazda 3S
    Volkswagen GTI
    Dodge Stratus SXT
    Acura 3.0s
    Toyota Tacoma

Generally the Insurance Companies charge by age, whether single or not, 4x4 or not then any dui or accidents/tickets. I scraped a concrete barrier in a very tight turn and State Farm charged me with an accident. 2675.00 to repair the damage of a right side lower cab body and front of the longbed. It does not matter I've never had a chargeable accident. Ten years with State Farm no tickets or accidents. That one incident and they jacked my rates up. Class A Commerical Licence. If you get a parking Ticket in an 18 wheeler you also get charged on your personal Insurance and your rates suddenly get raised. In 99 I got a parking ticket in a rest area in Virginia. Didn't matter I was out of hours. Two hour limit's in VA rest area's on 95.

Man this thread makes me want to cry.

    2014 DCLB TRD Sport

    I pay over $3600 a year or about $300/CAN a month.

I have one at fault accident about 4 Years ago. Some lady decided to come to a dead stop to check out two homeless dudes fighting in oncoming traffic. I was looking over at what was going on and slammed into her. Put her bike rack right through the back hatch of her Yaris.

Great, best customer service in the business. I've had them for about 7 years, had 3 minor accidents in that time. They're quick and easy to work with.
