How much flexibility do dealerships actually have with pricing?

    Curious about your reasoning here? Wouldn't a static price just eventually push all dealers into a race to the bottom of "invoice" + "enough to staff dealership and take home a reasonable salary"? Or is the idea maybe that if CUSTOMER_A is "overpaying", then CUSTOMER_B who haggles "perfectly" can get a bigger discount? Instead of them both paying whatever the median of those price differences is.

    common sense and a knowledge of human nature...so who sets this static price? they do...are they going to do so in your favor? like hell, they haven’t yet. come on use your brain. used lots have been doing this for years, “no haggle pricing” means they set the price and there is no discussion, and the customer always gets ripped off. welcome to reality, the sooner you figure out how humans work the better
