I ordered new rims and tires and was wondering how much do you think I could get for my stock 16" steel rims and factory tires?
They've got less than 500 miles on them.
If I painted them black, do you think they'd bring in more money?

i had trouble selling my stock wheels with tires on them...and they had mud tires with tread left...

ended up getting $150 for them to help a guy who wrecked his truck...and mine were painted black...

    personally id leave them unpainted

next time I drive to Disney World I'll stop by and give you 30 dollars. I'm not particularly happy with the stock tires, but I don't want to buy new tires. I'd probably give you $100 for all 4 if I lived in the area.

you should probably take out the pressure sensors before you sell them.

Almost new tires with steel rims should be worth right around $300 IMO...

I get my new rims and tires on Friday and they are doing the TPMS rebuild for me.

I'm good with $300, I think I'd rather keep them for anything less than that because you never know what could happen..

On a side note, does anyone buy into that nitrogen fill stuff? Is that legit or just another way for them to make money. I would think that since it's so popular it must be somewhat true, but is the difference tangible?

Call me crazy but I threw them up on craigslist for $400. Let's see what happens.

A few additions to make me feel cool.
I sold mine for $385 but they were in perfect shape. Keep in mind if you have to ship them it will cost! From Ca to In it cost me $125 UPS ground.

After only 3.5 hours on Craigslist, I sold them for $400. I probably should have asked for more... oh well.
