Well, I sold her on the fact that I could build this for less than buying a Raptor. But she doesn't know what I've spent

You could dump money into a taco, or spend $20k more for a raptor and then dump money into that. They all money pits in the end.

Well it isn't an investment that has a good return other then the fun factor. As far as the wife, she doesn't care to much what I do to it, she just shakes her head when she notices the obvious thing. She never noticed the whine of the super charger, just comments on how fast it picks up. Go figure:D

    Stock
50 dollars for a blue tooth adapter for the radio, and I'm done.

It gets me to work, tows a trailer, and hauls the junk around I need to haul.

    Good 'nuff.

So far I've spent just over $2,200 in the past year, and like most of us, I have a wishlist too.

Wow let's see, tonneau cover, radio, 5100s, TRD exhaust, Doug Thorley long tube headers, Urd cell remover thing, tint, TRD seat covers, weather tech digital fit floor mats front and back, weather tech mud flaps, various decals, stubby antenna, HID fogs, weather tech bug deflector, led interior lights. I'm going to be upgrading my upgrade at stereo and adding a double din with backup camera. I've not included tires, going on set number 3 not including stock which I replaced at 25k long ago. Ballpark figure............5 grand. Had the truck 10 years and I'll never stop modding. Just need to get it back from the dealer with its new frame and I'll continue this financially destructive, albeit immensely satisfying path.
