They work "decent" with hids but have a crap cutoff.
They work worse than stock with halogens.

    They tend to leak.

That said, if u must have them, keep ur stockers just in case.

Seal them with GE silicone II

Cross ur fingers, and remember what to look for.

If going the hid route, be smart about it and use NO HIGHER THAN 6000K bulbs.
The higher the color, the less lumens and the more blue the light.... Blue does NOT work well in rain, fog, dust, and is actually FATIGUING to the human eye, encluding the drivers.

Ideal kelvin is 4300K to I'd say 5000K..... I'd also say that if u must have blue, 6000K is the highest.

Real factory HID systems on vehicles is NEVER a blue bulb..... No cars off the lots produce a blue light.

Any blue is an artifact of a projector and is only in the color band and this is NOT what the driver uses as their light source. The see white light with a narrow band of blue..... Others see more blue because they are in the color band at that distance.

I'm at around $25,000 in parts alone, but I stopped counting at 10k. Doing all the labour yourself helps. If I included bumpers and cage I'd be way higher.
