So I was just tallying my expenses after the weekend carnage of purchases related to my Tacoma. In total, I think I'm in for $3500 in mods on top of the purchase price of the truck. I got a good deal on the truck last year, so I'm a little more comfortable modding it because there is some cushion.

If/when I sell the truck, I plan to sell off whatever mods I can. I've kept most of the stock components to install back on the vehicle. I recently sold my street/track motorcycle and came out slightly ahead after I sold off parts (and an extra project bike) and took the bike back to OEM.

I know we quip about the massive amounts of money dump into this hobby, but I'm curious as to how much you guys have spent on your trucks, so I set up this poll.

    1. How long you've had the vehicle
    2. How much you spent on modding it (Purchase prices of all parts/mods including shipping and installation if applicable - sale of OEM or other parts you pulled off).
    3. Any other truck related expenses that have come up.

    Thanks for sharing!

In the interest of efficiency, mods feel free to delete this thread. Thanks for showing me the other threads, guys.

And this is why I will always buy Toyota, so I can willingly dump several thousand dollars into mods within the first two years, yet spend $0 on repairs. :D
