I have State Farm as well. I just called my State Farm office and the agent i spoke to sounded shocked when i told her the value of all my additions and she wasn't sure what their policy was for getting them covered. I take it my local State Farm agent's office rarely gets a customer who has done so many modifications before or most people never actually ask to get their modifications covered. She said she would call me back, but i'm still waiting...

Did they ask you to take pictures of your parts on your Tacoma and keep the receipts, or just the receipts themselves? Do they cover full replacement and labor costs of the modifications or is it depreciated value of the mods and they don't cover labor costs?

Othen than getting stuff thrown in when I bought it (Tonneau cover, Pro Grill, Tub mats & winter Tire package), I've bought:

    TRD Remote cover
    Tacoma letters on tailgate
Lot's of Plasti-Dip for my rims.
    Oh, and Subaru Tweeters.......

I'll definitely ask and let you know what their response is.

I am curious because if they only cover depreciated value then i won't ask for $11k in aftermarket coverage. I'd ask for less, maybe something around 70% of the value of my mods. But if their aftermarket coverage will include labor costs, then i would ask for more coverage since labor costs are expensive. Granted, i've done all the labor myself but if i paid someone to do everything i've done to this truck then i would have probably spent at least $6,000 more.

This thread was enlightening. I've spent too much -- on average $1000 a month for the time I've owned the truck. The below doesn't count shipping, labor, paint, or discounts/promos applied:

    SOS Offroad Concepts full kit:
    • Streamline bumper: $625
    • Sliders, flat / kickout: $500
    • IFS Skid: $230
    • Mid Skid: $150
    • Tcase Skid: $150
    • HC Rear bumper w/ swingout: $1430
    • Ditch Lights: $75
    ARE Topper: $4100
    • ARE MX
    • Side windoors
    • Driver's side toolbox
    • Walk-in rear door
    • Rack
    Suspension from HeadStrong Offroad: $2060
    • 2.5 Fox coilover kit (stage 2)
    • 2.0 Fox rear shock
    • OME Dakar springs for rear
    Sumosprings for rear: $200
    BFG KO2s in (235/80r16): $750
    Winch: $360
    Winch quick disconnect: $25
    Ditch Lights (Rigid knockoff): $50
    Spot Lights (Lightcannon knockoff): $90

    yo_hec side molle panels: $95

    Rally Armor mudflaps: $35
    AVS in-channel visors: $35
Extra rear rim/tire for swingout: $350

    Clazzios black leather seatcovers: $425
    Heated seat kit: $40
    Bedmat: $120
    Tuffy console vault: $130
Main breaker, BlueSea panel, relay kit, wiring, switches, 3d printed panel, etc: $200?
    Gw1-B dashcam: $50

Related truck purchases (not Taco-dependent, but bought because of truck):
    MAXSA Escaper: $130
    Farm Jack: $70

That's about $12.5k. It adds up fast.
