Last year we did a video on our Tacoma to see how much we had into it as prices for vehicles are getting up there on the marketplace. Check it out and let us know what you have into yours. We won't tell.

Mine is as is it was when driven off the lot. Although, upgrading a 22 sr5 to a 22 Pro wasn’t cheap.

    OMG!

My wife can't stand that I interact with strangers on TW.

Even after I took her with me to Delaware Meet last year...

But you're right, no need to mention how much we spent. lol

$4,580.19 - this doesn't include fuel, insurance or other minor things like windshield washer refills etc.

Bought my truck in June, 2020 (~4.6 years old) so I've spent about $81.50 extra per 30 days of ownership. Or close to ~$1,000/year

    Breakdown for the nerds:

$728.88 on mods - things where I'm replacing something from factory (example: new flat aluminum tailgate)
$958.60 on equipment - things I'm adding to the truck without modifying (example: Toyota bed mat)
$918.81 on repairs - this is mostly from replacing windshields or repairing chips in said windshield. The only other issue I had was a bad sensor in the thermostat which was covered by dealer.
$1,973.90 on maintenance - oil changes, registration renewal, etc. - this will go up as I ran out of free oil changes from dealer and I've started doing basic maintenance out of my own wallet

I recommend this to everyone, even if you don't write off stuff for work. If you ever resell your truck you can print all of this out for the next owner and show maintenance and all that.

Just make sure you keep this list in a blast-proof safe, preferably guarded by crazy killer dogs... and John Wick.

Does the thing in the back of my truck count? It replaced the plenty expensive AT Habitat I used to have, lol.

$14,380 in mods. I would say I regret most of it and would not do it to a future truck.

It counts: anything over $5 definitely counts: especially if it's on some "secret" list, or worse: or the missus spies it on the internet.
