I have been driving here in crazy ass NorCal for a year with only Liability. I need to up to full coverage (I own my truck out right).
Thinking about adding $250 Comp and $500 Collision.
How much coverage is everyone putting on their trucks after 7 or more years?

I don't have the figures in front of me, I am at $125 collission, not sure on comp but I do have enough in case I hit a $90-100K vehicle and its my fault to cover the replacement of that vehicle so I don't get sued.

Full coverage since day one. Now that it is paid off and owned outright, I will continue to keep full coverage.

$120 on Comp, $500 on Collision.

AAA, full coverage, $100 comp $500 collision, been driving for 5 years (I'm 22 right now), on my own insurance and it's a little over $1500 for the year with clean driving record. Liability would only have been like 200-300 less... If you can, pay the year in full up front, saves on processing fees ($3/month for direct deposit and $7/month for check with AAA).

Pretty sure comp does not cover damage you might cause to other's vehichle, but theft, fire, flood, glass breakage for your vehicle. Liablility actually covers damage to someone else's vehicle.

    Nice truck by the way.
