We fucked it up...thats what happened! Dude, back in the day when there was no such thing as interest and we didn't contract out other country's to make our stuff we were the doing the best...no national deficit etc...its sad really!

It kind of reminds me when my parents lived in Venezuela. When there was a party change, there was no money. The outgoing politician lined pockets and the incoming lined their pockets. Have we become no better than that?
