    Lol yeah itll move the shock in or out alright...because its raised or lowered the ride height of the rig. Thats what those adjustment rings are for, is to give or take spring preload for height adjustment.

    oops confused my definition of preload. Raising the collar will not change the spring rate or make the suspension stiffer. Caveat, unless the preload is increased above the applied weight on that wheel.

    cxr turbo, fic6, methanol injection, king coilovers, jba uca, skyjacker leafs, rear 12" 5125s, no-slip rear locker, 35" grabber x3, magnaflow muffler, retrofit headlights, trans cooler, bed lined exterior, etc...
    Spring will compress more through the suspension travel then it normally would making a stiffer/harsher ride over bumps.
