You should have USAA requote you if it's been a while. Which insurance company is listed on your paperwork?

While this thread is somewhat amusing, as a professional in this field most of the comments here are irrelevant. While auto insurance products are somewhat standardized, they still have MANY variables that have not and cannot properly be addressed here. A majority of your premium is derived from liability and injury benefits, with coverage and benefit options all over the map. I feel the most important coverage to protect you and your family are carrying reasonable liability limits and injury benefits.

Yeah I think the Tacoma alone is somewhat in that $230/mo range for me too.

Like mentioned above there are a lot of factors. Must be nice lol. I can't wait until I'm older and out of that 21-25 bracket.

I'm 28. When I turned 25, I made my mom call USAA and tell them I turned 25. They cut the premium almost in half! When I started driving, my mom paid 2200 a year for our two cars. She was happy to pay it so she wouldn't have to drive me around anymore. First World Problems, I guess

Was expecting to add another 1200 a year to our auto insurance with the new Tacoma. To my surprise, it only added $313.00 for the year.

4 vehicles plus home owners ins from Auto Club

Works out to $875 per year per vehicle.

Ins agent said the more cars you have the bigger the discount. So need to buy more cars :)

Picking up my 2016 TRD OR AC in a few days :D so I set up insurance today: $466 per 6 months! Thats cheaper than what I am currently paying for a 1999 Tahoe - guess I should have shopped around more for the Tahoe.
