I originally purchased my 2007 DCSB Tacoma used with 7k miles, equipped with a spacer lift. I quickly changed the spacer lift out for a Toytec Adjustable CO kit, built with Bilstein 5100s and put 285s on the truck.

Fast forward to now, 100k miles later, and I just purchased a set of Bilstein 6112s to swap on. I'm trying to determine how much lift my truck currently has so I can closely match it with the 6112s clip grooves. I can obviously guess my way into this by just placing the clip on the 5th groove, but I'm trying to decide if I should order 1/4" or 3/8" top plates to have ready for when I go to install. Any insight you guys could provide would save me time at install.

Here are the measurements that I can easily grab. If y'all need more information, I'll do my best to provide it.
    Driver's Side:
Ground to fender (measured vertically through the hub center): 38.875
    Ground to hub: 15.5

    Passenger's Side:
Ground to fender (measured vertically through the hub center): 39.25
    Ground to hub: 15.5

Center of vehicle (ground to frame): 13.75

Well your hub to fender heights is the easiest judge, but you're about 2.5-2.75" lifted I think.

Subtracting your ground to hub measurements from your ground to fender measurements.

My stock hub to fender was 20.5, and yours is 23.3" given the above info.

Hub to fender should be my two measurements minus the 15.5" ground to hub, so:

    Driver's side: 23.375
    Passenger side: 23.75

That's a very difficult measurement for me to obtain since my tires flare outside of the fenders slightly.

    I'm at 23 inches and 2.5" lift.

So.. 2.5-2.75" of lift on your truck it seems. Still. Again.

So that would put me at 3.25" on my passenger side if what you are saying is correct, no?

    On that side. Yes.

    And 2.75" on driver side.

You could average it out at 3" of lift.

Thanks for the help. I'm probably a bit over-extended on the passenger side. I do have LCA rubbing on the passenger side (turning in reverse), and it may be attributed to this.

I just ordered a 1/4" and 3/8" top plate spacer so I can dial in the lean. Perhaps I can even take the 6112 down to the 4th setting to take some load off the springs.
