I had 32s and still needed to trim a little bit plus get rid of the mud flaps. Bang that pinch weld flat also.

Well here she is with the lift. The bilstein lift from toy tech actually ended up belong closer to 4”. Replaced lower ball joints and outer tie rod ends while we were at it.
From ground to fender flare was 34 1/4” now it sits at 38 1/8”. Comments from you guys are right on point, 32” tires would be max without rubbing, currently has 31/10.5/15 and I’m just gonna leave it right there.
My boy lost his mind we he got it for his bday. It’s been a couple days and still can’t wipe the smile off his face. Thank you so much for all the comments.

Looks great! Once you start putting some miles on it it’ll settle a bit. Nothing but fun right there. Replace all your fluids so you get a good baseline/starting point. Get out and drive that thing!

Btw, I know in an earlier post you weren’t crazy about your son off roading, but the two of you out camping for a weekend would really make for some great father and son memories.

That truck is awesome! I did all the work on mine myself in December of 22 and replaced every bushing and suspension part. At the time I was also 16 and was so excited to have this truck. Running Dobinson's shocks, Dakar leafs, JBA UCA's, and new wheels, took me about 2 days of working on it after school. I also agree with jackn7 to do some camping.

I understand your point with not wanting your son to off road, because as for my dad, it is super stressful for him because there is so much that can go wrong, but with enough common sense and knowing you/your sons driving abilities and your trucks ability, you should stay safe. Make sure to set boundaries if you ride with him too, follow your gut feeling if a trail is too dangerous or hard, or you feel like he isnt ready for an obstacle, because ive also learned that the hard way, convincing my dad to let me do a trail he thought was too hard, and that turned out to be true. Wheeling is about having fun and staying safe, and making some fun memories with family/friends, while also gaining the driving experience. It is another thing you and your son can do to have fun and spend time together, and whenever me and my dad do off roading trips, or any trip, I deeply value it.

Anyways, its awesome seeing more and more kids my age being able to have awesome trucks like these, and were all super lucky to be able to have these growing up, as most parents/adults I know couldnt have even imagined having stuff like this at such a young age.

It’s not that I don’t want him doing it, I know he will, I just want him to be super safe about it. He is a bit of a wild man hahaha. We go out on the beaches already, but I will definitely take the advice and see if I can’t find some decent trails relatively close by we’re we can ride and do some camping. If I take him at least I can make sure he is t running wide open hahaha.
