I've got an 04 Prerunner with some Cooper 265/75/16 S/T's. The tires are about 1" taller than stock and the front rubs on sharp turns, the back only when compressing one side like over a curb or something. I've heard of people raising the front 1" higher than the rear because of the OEM's dropping the front for aerodynamics.?.? We're not looking for a monster truck, just something compatible with the tires.

    See build thread.
dude what i would do and did do is this. have your buddy get in your truck turn it on and crank the wheel all the way to the left. look at where the driver side tire is rubbing up against the inner wheel well and chalk an outline on the plastic rubber whatever to cut it out. do the same for the passenger side tire. then get a knife and cut the piece that the tire rubs against out. problem solved. cant even tell on my truck that it was even cut.

I can see where it rubs...however It would be a perfect place to blow road salt right into a body cavity through the hole...no need to cause a rust problem when $100-250 would solve the problem depending on the parts I'd need.
