How much lift to clear 285/70/17

    Want to keep ride quality.
    What brand and how much lift would I need?
    Very little off roading,
    Just won't keep ride quality good.
    Have the updated 4 leaf pack on back
    And rear of truck is 1.5 higher then front now.
    Thanks for any help.Also,
    How to toyo open country at do on these truck sl load range?

    You can clear them without a lift if you really wanted to. But practicality speaks - and you should go 2.5" in the front and 1.5" in the back, wheel backspacing and off set also comes in to play. Usually people go with 4.5" BS and 0 offset for a nice fit. I would smash the pinch weld also, it will slice your tires up. You can hit 'search' up at top and type in pinch weld, you will find pictures of it faster than I can explain where and what it is.

    You'll need to do a cab mount chop. I have the same tires and rubbed until I got that done.

    Working on it now....UNDER CONSTRUCTION
    The quality of ride with my setup is way better than stock. I run 285/65/18 and only had to trim the fender flare at the very bottom. Keep in mind that my setup is with spindles which bump out wheels 3/4 inch on either side. I have a 4 inch lift. Good luck with your decision and don't go cheap.
