Too much in general but it’s been worth it.

TW got me into metal fabrication, when combined with my education helped get me an internship in heavy fab and now it’s translated to a career.

So yeah I’ve spent thousands on tools, metal and mods but it’s help get me to where I am now.

Now, I can spend even more money on my truck

Not much, financially speaking, but this site has cost me my pride, self esteem, and my ability to look other owners in the eye. You see, I bought a Limited and am happy with it. I haven't lifted it, tinted it, nor really fucked with it and I question myself daily as to whether I am totally experiencing the "Tacoma Lifestyle" by simply driving the truck and enjoying it.
I donno, maybe I should get my life together and start asling the hard life questions like: how much should I lift it and what lift kit brand to use? What size tires should I buy and is this CAI ok?

This site as cost me nothing but a little time over the last 10 years. If anything, it's saved me money. I bought a TRD skid for half the cost of a new one (I damaged my factory skid). And just recently bought a gently used Duralast Gold battery for a great deal (my OE battery had a leaking positive post). Both items were purchased from TW brothers.

I'm immune to temptations and peer pressure.

    Of course, I'm a 2nd gen posting in the 3rd gen forum. So I don’t count. :D

Zero I had an idea of what i'd do when I bought my 2018 in December and I did it

The truck came with the cast running boards so I did need those, but added a TRD Skid plate, TRD intake, BFG AT K/O in stock size, Mud flaps, Bed mat, Hitch plug, Front header rail and Yakima bike mount, Redline oil in the rear diff and additional rust protection with 3M in and out for the chassis.

Still pending: TRD cat back exhaust and Roadwire leather

I have no desire to do anything more to this truck, no LEDs, no lift kits, no bumpers, no sliders, no plasti-dip, no aftermarket wheels etc. The truck is more than capable in it's stock forum and if it gets lost in an Applebee's parking lot that's what the key fob is for.

Honestly, I probably would not have removed the TRD decals if not for TW. So $1.50 worth of Goo Gone and wax.

If you enjoy the truck as is, why change it? These trucks are very well capable from factory. You can always do small things to make it your own if you wanted. Otherwise, keep it simple if you’re happy!

The easiest way NOT to be list the majority of members on this site is to spend zero modding your truck.

$10 cause of needing goo gone etc. to remove all the badges. Tires and tint were going to be done regardless.

Came here to say this. Between preventing me from buying dumb/bad/wrong products and guiding me through my own troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs, TW has saved me more money than it's cost me.
