Not you so much. Just curious since others don't have that config who are replying and others don't mention their config and have great MPG for a DC Taco.

Or at least lie about the increases from air filters, exhaust, throttle body spacer, regearing etc.

Just picked up a 2013 last Wednesday (08-14-13). Used the first tank of gas around town.

Today I took it on a country road/tollway trip of 135 miles. When I got back I filled up with 5.722 gallons, for a mileage of 23.59 mpg (no kidding).

I held it at 65mph while on the toll road and used the cruise control. If I can get anywhere near this as an average I'll be ecstatic!

This is my second Tacoma- I sold my 2011 to my son in Alaska last week- we got 21mpg on most of the trip from Chicago to Alaska up the Alaska-Canadian Highway, and that was through the mountains and we averaged about 70mph.

Running everything stock. I don't have a fuel gauge, but I do track my milleage with every fill up. I do andmit that i do drive with a light foot.....if that's what it takes to get good mph...then let it be so. If you have a heavy foot and race all the way to a stop sign or light just to come to a complete stop, then expect to get horrible MPG. It's that simple. Take off from a stop easy and coast to a stop so that you don't have to actually come to a stop, coast down hills and such and your mpg will go up...that is my experience. I don't race around unless I necessarily have to.

Mostly stock 13' DCLB Prerunner, combined city/hwy I get 20.4 mpg. Without the CAI and exhaust I was averaging about 18.2 mpg. I get the best mileage if I drive in the 65-70ish mph range on the fwy. Ohh BTW the ethanol in the gas doesn't help either for us guys in the Nazi state of California

    this guy again.
Asking about damaged tacomas and now a new tacoma?
OP, if you aren't trolling right now, you shouldn't be spending $1000 + on lift and tires and whatever else you want and be worried about gas.
