None currently, but I would like a better sounding exhaust and perhaps a cold air pack and some color coded step bars
Surfsupl, it was a 5yr old Tundra, V8, with 236,000 and did not burn any oil, Mobil 1 was his choice of syn oil for that truck.

Most new trucks and cars use very little oil these days. I would guess less than a qt in 5-6000miles. I would say that is using oil, burning oil is of course a sign of warn piston rings and valve guides also there is blue smoke coming from the tail pipe on start up and strong excelleration. These cars/trucks usually have lots of miles on them 125,000 plus.
If your truck or car has close to 200K on it and you are using a qt or so between changes , consider yourself lucky as I don't believe this out of line.
Vehicles with that kind of mileage do use and leak some oil.
When I was a kid (60's) almost all cars burned oil somewhat, machine tolerances were not what they are today, people did not change there oil as often then either. Don't forget emissions as oil burners that smoke would not pass emissions.

My independent shop noted an oil leak in the timing area of my 06. I took it to the dealer and they advised there was a TSB (#EG051-07). It took two days in the shop but it it fine now. If I hadn't caught it, the bill would have been $1,500.

Recently swithed to Mobil 1, using the standard Taco filter, I am about 1000 miles from the 5 thousand mark for changing the oil. I checked it the other day and its very clean and right at the full mark. I will probably let it go until 6500 before changing.
Good to know about those TSB's thank for the update.

My 2005 4X4 V6 with 72,000 miles on it didn't burn a drop of oil. My 2008 V6 I bought in March has 12,000 on it and doesn't burn a drop of oil either.

86,000 miles on my 05 4X2 DC. Never have to add oil between oil changes. Truck still drives as good as it did in 05.
