How much oil needs to be added if i don't change the filter?

    This post is funny.

    If the dealer is doing 5k oil changes but you are jumping in to them at 3k for piece of mind (5k is fine btw with synthetic) then not changing the filter is plenty fine. Just have 6 quarts with you and fill it until it reaches the dot/mark on the dip. Leave the left over for next time.

    You can get the free oil changes when you wish, you don't have to go the full 5k if you don't want. That's what I did, they haggled me a bit about it but they did it.
