How much play is too much play?

    So I’m thinking about replacing the carrier bushing and trans mount. How much play in both is too much? I can’t tell if they need to be or not.

    Hey Va bch Gloucester here the carrier bearing slops around 1/8" new. 1/4" at 150,000mi. After 1/2" is getting too loose.
