How much pulling force without damage?

    I'm now thinking about using the taco + snatch block. Nothing can possibly go wrong ...

    I’m sure by now it’s been said 50 times but NOOOO!! Go forward or you can blow gears apart doing something like this.

    Hook to rear and pull.
    If you are not using a recovery strap and you maintain tension you can pull to slip limit.
    You will not be able to pull a large stump.

    This sounds pretty shady.

    Better off drilling holes in the stump, filling with kerosene, and burning it out.

    I'd like to bring my lawn chair and a few beers. I enjoy stump pulling going wrong.


    Seriously.... don't jack about with the stump. Cut it close, then rent or hire a stump grinder.

    Stump grinders are less expensive than body repairs, truck or human.
